When highlighting in iBooks whole paragraph underlines after iOS8 update

I have the iPad Air. When you highlight a passage if you are at the end of the page it highlights all previous paragraphs. When you delete highlights everything is lost. This only started occurring after the iOS8 upgrade.

I'm having the same problem!!!! I have always used this feature and never had this problem!! I always highlight certain magazines I download and heavely rely on this feature. I will highlight a few paragraphs and then all of a sudden it highights all the prior paragraghs. When you delete, it erases everything you have already highlighted!! I have tried rebooting but problem still exsits. This only started with the IOS 8 upgrade. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have waited to upgrade. I use the highlighting ALOT!!
if you hear of a solution, please post. also, if you know who to complain to let me know!

I can no longer update apps on my iPhone 4s after the IOS 8 update. The IOS 8 update took a very long time to complete, maybe 12 hours, and afterwards, it worked but updating packages were very slow. Package updates have since been problematic and about 4 days ago, it stopped being able to update any packages. I click on them to update and they never make any progress. I have 2.8 Gbytes free and I keep deleting more and more packages, pictures, etc. It seems like, from the amount of stuff that I have deleted, I should have more than 2.8 Gbytes free.
Is anyone else having this kind of problem?

16GB iPhone4: Go to Settings, scroll down to iTunes & App Stores and touch. At the top of the next page it shows: Apple ID. Touch this. Select Sign Out. Your Apple ID will go away. Re-enter Apple ID and password. Try App Store again.
Other solutions were to go to Settings:General:Date&Time and turn off auto-update, then change date to next year. This didn't work for me, nor a lot of other users on the forums. It took reading a lot of threads to find the log-out, log-in solution. Even on the official Apple Website all I saw was: Make sure your connection is working, battery is charged, desktop is plugged in when you try to sync. OK I exaggerate, but with all the users posting this problem, you'd think they'd post their solutions when they work with a Tech Help call.

The 30-pin connector on the iPhone 4 dock might not have all the connector pins to do video.
I'm 99% sure the Universal Dock does have the pins (and therefor supports video out).

Touchscreen randomness after ios8 update on iphone5

My touchscreen behaves for a short while then after a few presses just starts randomly doing stuff I haven't even pressed and certain areas of the screen do not work then after going to lock screen and coming back it works ok but then flips out again after a few moves. Anybody else having this after ios8 update on iPhone 5.

My Amazon Prime Instant Video App does not show airplay symbol after IOS8 update

JUst found out that the Amazon Prime Instant video app lost the airplay possibility after IOS8 update on ipad and iphone.
Am I wrong or is there something I need to adjust on my devices?

Airplay is found by swiping up and enabling via control centre
Use AirPlay to wirelessly stream content from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If AirPlay functionality has been removed or if there is error then it is up to the developer to fix

My iPhone 5S will put itself on mute, hold or speaker and also pulls up my contacts when I'm on the phone all after I updated to iOS 8.2...

after I updated to ios 8.2 it's hard to have a phone call without my phone pulling up my contacts or putting itself on speaker, mute or hold on it's own.

Looks like the proximity sensor is not working correctly. Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software.

What happened to dictionary function after iOS8 update?

After recent update to iOS8 I no longer have the ability to highlight a word and retrieve a definition via the dictionary on my iPad.

I know the ACR update is just a few hours old, but I have not seen anyone else mention the problem you describe. It certainly hasn't made any difference to my system. Can we try and pin your problem down a bit?
Photoshop version?
Operating system?
Perhaps upload a screen grab of your entire workspace showing the Layers and History panels, and drag them out show all layers, and as much history as available.
Does this happen with all images? Have you restarted the computer as well as Photoshop? Are you absolutely sure that Preferences was reset? (It sounds like you deleted the preferences file rather than use the start up method)

Windows — Hold down Shift Ctrl Alt immediately after starting Photoshop
Mac — Hold down Shift Cmd Opt immediately after starting Photoshop

IPhone 5C after ios8 update.

After I updated my iPhone 5c I experienced a few glitches that I can't seem to fix. I have restored the phone to factory settings twice, still no fix.
1. I will be on a phone call and I will go to lock the phone, it wont lock. I will try to access the home screen and it won't respond. I end the call, and the home button still wont respond and the phone wont lock.
2.Phone will say I have been on a call for 64+ hours and freeze. Only way to fix is to reset.
3. Apps including safari and messages app crash hourly. Key board stops responding or will continue to type but letters wont show up.
4. I will lose all service and wifi randomly during a call and when just using an app.
5. Phone will restart randomly while on the phone, and then when it turns back on the call is still going.
6. Each time I did a factory restore, the phone would be stuck on the "Connect to itunes" screen. I called apple support both times, and i had to delete certain files on my computer that were preventing the restore process.
If anyone has any advise for me, PLEASE let me know.

Callers cannot hear me after Ios8 update

After I updated to iOs8, i immediately began getting a message that this charger or accessory is not compatible with this Iphone. However, nothing was plugged in! After a few hours the message stopped. But now callers cannot hear me, although I can hear them. Callers are able to hear me when I put the speakerphone on, which is not an acceptable solution to the problem, i do not want to use speaker phone for every call. I have try the following
- Power the device off then back on
- Hard reset the device using home/sleep buttons
- Checked the headset jack for debris
- Adjusted the volume several times while on a test call
- reset the network settings
- toggled noise cancellation option while on a test call
Probably more than what's listed, i've been non stop for more than 24 hours! I have googled for a solution, but I am not seeing others with the same issues as mine after updating to iOS8, some have had the same issue with previous updates of different iOS versions. And I have tried all of the solutions that they were given. I feel like I have tried everything.
I do not want to downgrade back to iOS7, I'm not sure I even can.
So, any other suggestions? Should i just take the Device to my local Apple store and let them sort it out? I have an Iphone 5s that is only a few months old (probably less than 6)

If never jailboken/hacked, restore using iTunes, first also restoring a backup and if needed as new (without using a backup)

It's really important to me to get them back. My daughter died 8 weeks ago and there were things that we wrote together on there. Irreplaceable things.

I now have even less. Half my apps have now gone too

I understand that your text messages are missing after an update on your iPhone. Sounds in apps not working after iOS8 update

Has anyone else had issues with apps not playing sound after the update? I have a 5S and have reset it with no luck; sound plays through earbuds just fine, also plays the typing sound without earbuds. Seeing this with YouTube and Facebook as well as other embedded media.

Push email not working after ios8 update

I have updated my iPad air and my iPhone 5 to ios8.
Both devices have the same email accounts.
The ipad email push works fine after the update on all accounts.
But, on the iPhone I do not get email update for hours unless I physically go into the email app.
Is there a fix for this issue? I have tried everything from deleting and re-establishing the accounts. This happened on ios6 and 7.
Come on Apple, get with the program!
