When I added a new contact the screen went black in contacts. I'm not able to access my contacts now. I turned the iPad off and back on, still onlythe black screen appears.
When I added a contact to my contacts, took a picture and added Ringtone, pressed done, the screen went black and I am not able to access contacts. I turned off the ipad but still cannot access contacts.
I don't fully understand what the System Reset does but I've found that it cures many ills. It's easy, quick and harmless:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
A System Reset does not remove any apps, music, movies, etc. nor does it cause any settings to revert back to default.
Also, you might wish to download the iPad-2 User Guide. Pay special attention to page 162. Note that this Guide also applies to the iPad-1 with IOS 4.3 except for those functions that are not supported by the hardware.

Try closing iTunes and reset your iPad. After the iPad starts up, try the download again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the iTunes app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.

it is literaly bleeping on and off. I can't turn the ipad off and I can't do anything else either. Any thoughts?

My problem - when syncing and error messages comes up: iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone because an error occurred while margin data." Before I started to resync calendars one by one as suggested in the troubleshooting article, I remembered something that came up in a sync when I first attempted : a 'which one do you want to keep' message about a repeating calendar event, which came up with three options, one from Calendar, and two from iCal on the phone. I deleted that event, then went through the calendar resync one by one, and all seems OK now.
In Music there is a way to find 'ghost' items that show up as grayed-out on the menus, so that you can try to reassociate or delete them. It would be nice to have a similar way to work with Calendar!

I turned my Ipad off and when I tried to turn it back on, only the apple displays and it will not go past that. What can I do to get it to come back on? It won't acknowledge it when I plug it in either.

I keep getting an error code 05 when I try to use certain modes on my Rebel T3i. It seems as though my auto flash is stuck. Is this a common complaint....and if so.....what is the answer to deal with this issue. I have followed the instructions of turning the camera off and back on....to no avail. HELP!!

The Error 5 error code indicates a malfunction in the popup flash mechanism.
If this is not cleared by turning the camera off, then on, your camera will require service to correct this issue.

After updating my iPad 2 to iOS 6, I cannot connect to my router. I have turned the router off, left off for a considerable time, turned the iPad off and on, reset the network settings, nothing works. Any other suggestions? It is obvious many others are having similar problems, so the iOS 6 looks like a loser.
I have just upgraded from a 3 to a 4S and now I can't connect to my wifi. I've tried everything, resetting network settings, switching to boot, renewing lease, rebooting, turning off cellular data etc etc. nothing works!! Very frustrating!

How long ago did you pay the bill? Has the payment cleared? It may take up to a couple of hours after the payment clears until service is restored.

I shut my mac down 1 week ago. Apparently, it chose to restart. I am looking at an incomplete green status bar. I turned the computer off and back on. The status bar is stuck at 1/3. What can I do? I have no time machine backups.

SInce updating my ipad 2 to IOS 6.0.1, when I try to rearrange my apps and press the home button to stop them shaking it turns my ipad off, then it shows the apple sign on the screen and comes back on, but the apps are back in the places they was before I tried to move them. Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

my iphone 4 home button is not working anymore. I have to turn the phone off and on again to access an app. When turning it on it immediately goes to voice control. I cannot get out of this. I have checked and updated the software and finally reset the phone. All this has left me with the same problem. Any ideas???

what's up ??Something went wrong with the update, this can and does happen with every version of iOS.
There is nothing wrong with the update.
Simply restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If iTunes is stating it will take hours to update, that indicates an extremely slow Internet connection and is likely the reason the OTA update failed. -
When I connect to the internet thru Safari, the requested page will begin to appear and then revert to the Ipad home page. I have powered of and back on and wi-fi signal is strong. any suggestions.
