When i approuve a transport request, it stays in progress status

Hello,
even if i input approval steps and i approuve it after, they are still in progress status, they don't desappear from QA worklist.
ho to do to resolve this situation ?
Thank's a lot

Hello,
Is this a workflow question? Are you using workflows for transports?
If yes, check the workflow log, eg via SWIA, to see what the problem is.
If no, maybe you could ask in a different SDN forum.

    Hello Anthes,
Please Check the things in following sequence :
1.Use latest SAPehpi, R3trans and tp versions.
    2. users/group authorization issue and/or ownersip limitations (set 777) .Reboot the server to make sure, that the authorisations are updated and there is no lock on a file in the EHPI dir.Repeat the phase.
Folders where permissions should be 777 are Upgrade directory, Data Directory, Cofile directory and .../EPS/in.
    3. Source file corruption can be ruled out by execution
R3trans -l /usr/sap/<SID>/..../abap/data/R-700BGINPLMWUI.SAP (The data file corresponding to the Package which is giving error). Check if this ends fine.
    Note 2050
    4. Confirm that your transport tool is 'healthy' by testing it in STMS. In SPAM in client 000 use the function Disassemble package and enter the package <Package name>.
    5. Try to update the kernel if it not helps.

  • RFC error when trying to add transport request in queue in STMS..

    Hi,
When I try to add a Transport request in queue in STMS transaction. I get RFC error saying some problem with tp program.
But when I go and check the RFC connection through STMS in system overview -> Communication -> RFC setting, it says RFC connection Ok.
What may be the issue  ? I really need some light on this..
    Regards,
    Rajesh.

    Hi Rajesh,
At times when u try to add the TR to a queue there would be 2 reasons.
    1. If u have imported a TR into a system say QTY and it needs to be re imported, then we delete it fromthe STMS queue and add it again to re import it.
    2. If u have some transport from external sap system to be imported here we place the data and Co files in the trans directory and then add the TR to this queue.
A TP failure happens if the data and co files does not exist in the TP directory or else, the TR target system is incorrectly mentioned.
    Hope it helps.

  • Error when try to release transport request

I encounter some error during the release of transport request.
First, when I go to SE10, it will show message "Global information cannot be read". Then, after I login, I try to release a request, it prompt me another message "Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0208". I had tried to update the tp.exe, but still the same error. Any clue to solve it?  Below is the error details:
Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0208
    Message no. TK094
    Diagnosis
Your transport request could not be exported, since all requirements were not fulfilled.
Calling the transport control program tp
       "tp EXPCHK DVPK900006 pf=
    swisapfs01\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_PRD.PFL -Dtransdir="
which checks the export requirements, returned the following information:
    Return code from tp: 0208
    Error text from tp: ERROR:
    System Response
    Further processing is terminated.
    Procedure
    Check the following points:
Feasibility of the transport control program tp
Parameter settings in the transport profile
Availability of the transport directory and the subdirectories (cofiles, data, log, sapnames, bin)
    Write authorization for the subdirectories
Write authorization for the files of the subdirectories cofiles, data, log, sapnames
Release the request again when the error has been removed

    Hi,
Any STMS operation will not work without the DIR_TRANS directory defined and accessible - and that seems to be the problem in your system.
    Set the transdir via links:

  • Function Module not being displayed in the Transport Request

    Hi,
I Created a FM "RH_ACTIVATE_WFOBJECT_AFTER_IMP"  in my SAP System. After I created due to problem in editing I have deleted the FM and also deleted it from the request.
I have re created the function module and if I see the object directory entry I find the following
    Identical request locks
    Request              User         Task/request         Object
                       ****            *****                       R3TR FUGR RHWS
In the request I cannot find the function module but only the function group. Please help me to get my function module visible in the transport request.

    Hi ,
When your creating the FM for first timw with new FGRP then no need to worry .
You can see only the FGRP in the transport request number and when you move this transport request to further systems your FM automatically transport with the FGRP.
Next time when your creating a new FM under the FGRP which is already moved to production you can see only your FM name under the transport request.
When you go to FGRP main program by follwing the path
FGRP -> Disply FGRP in SE37 you can see the main program of the FGRP there if you see one include with TOP and XX .
double click on the XX Include.
there you can see allthe FM under that FGRP.
    Thanks

  • Transport Requests

    Hello Experts,
I am facing couple of issues in transporting the requests from Dev to QA environment.
Firstly when trying to replicate DS in QA, DS is replicated but it is in MOdified status (and Cannot activate because QA system is non modifiable status) . I just right click on the appln component & then replicated metadata .  Is ther any step I'm missing or can be taken so that DS can be activated ?
Secondly when trying to move transport request for transformation between InfoSource & DS getting this error message "Message no. R7501"
"Start of the after-import method RS_TRFN_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) TRFN (Activation Mode)"
Also along with this message also getting message :-
Source RSDS ZQMNOTIFICATION_STATUS2 SD2CLNTXXX does not exist
Above mentioned source SD2CLNTXXX is dev DS and transport req is only for transformation .
I'm not able to understand why transformation req b/w IS & DS is including source system name.
Please advice if anybody has faced this situation.
    Thanks,
    Murtuza.

Firstly when trying to replicate DS in QA, DS is replicated but it is in MOdified status (and Cannot activate because QA system is non modifiable status) .
I guess, this is due to different versions of support packs in DEV & QA.
After replication of Datasource, now u have to transport the same datasource from BI Dev to BI QA. So, that it should overwrite the replicated one.
Since the datasource is not actively present in QA, thats why transportion of transformation throwing errors. to transport Transformation, Datasource & InfoSource must present in QA
Now, in BI Dev u should collect Datasource, Infosource, transformation and transport them to QA.

  • Releasing Transport Request Error.

    Hi all,
I have created the Query Objects under a Transport Request in Development System and has to be transported to the QA system.
One thing i have observed is, when u create a Transport request for an Object.
Two Transport Requests will be created,
    For Example,
If "A" object is assigned a new transport request 1, two Requests will be assigned to this Object "A".
Those requests would be 1 and 2.
But here 1 request is empty and 2 request is holding the Object "A".
So while transporting the request 2, even since 1 is assigned to the object, even it should be transported,
but im gettin the following message as below and hence the Transport cannot be done,
"Task 1(TR 1) is unclassified and does not contain any objects,
As soon as you include objects in the task/request, the SAP system automatically assigns a type to the task"
So can any1 plz help me out what was the error and my next steps to be followed.
    Thanks,
    Sowrabh

    Sowrabh,
It's like creating Task under one perticular Request no...
Go to RSA1-Transport comnnection _ Drag the query you are intended to transport and check whether all objects are under same request..If not change the Owner of the object to you userid and then try to create a request..
    Cheer's

  • Problem with "Create Transport Request"

    Hi all,
Iu2019m working with Solution Manager and Charm. I have a problem when I create a transport request.
After that I put regular correction into status u201CIn developmentu201D I choose u201CCreate Transport Requestu201D from the menu but the system display the message u201CThe last action triggered is locked in the task listu201D  . Is it a problem of authorization in satellite system? The user that I use to create a transport request have sap_all profile in the satellite system. What settings do I have to use in satellite system and in solution manager?
    Thank in advance
    giovanni

Make sure that the profile S_TMW_IMPORT and S_TMW_CREATE has the correction authorizations assigned and that it is assigned to the user TMSADM of client 000 of your satellite system.
    Note 807228 can be useful.
    Hope this helps,

  • Problem in extended Transport control while setting up transport request.

I created a BDC program which will create a database table upon executing..
The problem is the program worked well since yesterday, But today when i executed it , it is showing a information message when creating a new transport request .
Extended transport control is not active:
    Cannot specify target client
Since it s a recording ,and all the windows are processed using an OK CODE, this info box comes all of a sudden .I dont kno what went wrong , coz it was working fine the previous day.
i could not create a new workbench request even after ignoring that info message.
Pl suggest me what could be wrong.

This message has a long text, please read it.
Check with your system administrators, if they have changed anything regarding the transport process.
In addition, instead of using "fragile" recordings, try using function modules like DDIF_TABL_PUT.

  • Transport Request Locks on release!!

    Hello there,
I am facing one problem; When I create a transport request of a smart form and try releasing it, the request gets locked, thus failing the release.
I unlock the request via transport organizer tool (SE03), but again when I try to release the request, locking repeats.
    Any solutions??
    Thanks,
    Sumit

    Hi,
Plz. check client settings via scc4.
And check the owner of that request also via SE01.
Plz. let us know, are u facing this lock issue, only for this smart form only or for all other requests also??
Note: Points will always encourage me to reply!!

    Hi,
when creating Transport Requests in the Production system the requests are created as local requests that can't be transported between systems, and when the Transport Request is released the Data and Cofiles are not created.
You need to change the client settings with Tx SCC4 to allow the creation of Transport Requests.
You need to create a Temporary Transport Layer and Temporary Transport Route from Production to Test System. When you create the Transport Request make sure the transport request is using this newly created transport layer and has a target system.(Package also) when you release this request,  the data and cofiles will be created. The transport request should also appear in the import queue of the Test system.

  • Transport request files creation

    Hi to all,
I have one stand alone system which is not connected to any transport layer.
In this system we do lot's of development and now we install Development system We want to transport some requests from this stand alone system to our development system.
Problem is that after release of our transport requests files on usr\sap\trans\.... are not created. Becasue of that we can not copy files for transport on develeopment and import then there.
It's there some program, FM or tool so I can create transport files from transport requests.
    Thanks a lot,

  • Where i can find the deleted transport request in SAP development system?

where i can find the deleted transport request in SAP development system?

    Hi,
When you delete the transport request from SE10 , you can not find the request entry from E070 and E071.
and only local change request are possible to delete from SE10 /SE09
if you are try to delete the change request with target system then it's gives you the error that request cannot be deleted because it contains locked objects.
It's not possible to find out the deleted request from SE10.

  • Crystal Reports - Saving and the transport request screen

    Good morning BI people,
    Has anyone had this annoyance?
You are creating a Crystal report(2008 v12.2.7.598) with connection to sap bi(7.01) and when you save, the transport request screen doesn't come up front of crystal reports, it is created behide the screen. so, you sit and look at the hour glass for 5 mins, move on to other things, and then you realize that the transport screen is behide the crystal reports screen. and, it is not like you can minimize the crystal screen. you have to minimize all your screens and then click on the crystal screen from you tool bar and then, the transport screen comes up.
anyone have a fix for this?
    or am i alone....
    thx,
    Erik

    Hi Brad
I'm not sure that Modules would show us anything in this case, so let's try a few other things:
    1) Make sure you are using SP 1 for Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio:
Crystal Reports for VS 2005 and VS 2008 Updates & Runtime Downloads
    2) Seeing as this works on dev, this may be some db inconsistency so enabling the report option "Verify on 1st Print" will be a good idea.
    3) Double check the database client and make sure the same client is used on dev and deployed systems. Actually I take back my Modules negative as this is where it may prove useful. Once you have the Modules logs, look at who is loading the crpe32.dll, then look at that process and see the client dlls.
    4) Check the printer driver; see if there are any updates. Try a different printer driver.
Ten subreports is not too bad, though not that good either as you are loading the report engine with at minimum 11 simultaneous reports (each subreport is considered to be a report). If a subreport is in a details section and the details section returns a 100 records, you are running 100 + 1 reports. This may lead to memory issues, which may lead to the error.
If I was a betting man, I'd put most of my money on the printer driver (based on your last addition to your post). What ever money I had left would go to some database issue (be it actual data or client related).
