When I burn my recording on a CD it is labeled in chinese. How do I get it to burn the title in english?

I have done some recordings using garage band. Under share I select burn to CD and when it is done it comes up in iTunes with it looks to be chinese characters. How can I get it to label the CD in english?

I found it to be more than what I originally thought. I have been recording audio for self help recordings I am attempting to offer in my practice. I burned one project to cd and it labeles it in what looks like chinese. I burned another recording I did and it labeled it as the correct name but it showed it as another artist name that I have no idea were the name came from. I have a show coming up and need this info to be correct as I am offering these CDs for purchase.

The template is a document in itself, it is not applied to an existing document whether it is a Pages document or a Word document converted to a Pages document.
You would need to either copy and paste content, using existing styles, or apply the styles to the converted Word document.
You can Import the Styles from an existing document and those imported Styles can be used to override the current document's styles:
Menu > Format > Import Styles
The process is simplified if the styles use the same names, otherwise you will need to delete the style you don't want and replace it with the one that you do want when asked, then the substitution is pretty straightforward.

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?
Try moving the Zoom slider at the bottom of the iPhoto window all the way to the left. Does that let more than one photo display in the window?

Hi jt - Alex was actually referring to video clips in iPhoto not appearing in the item "iPhoto Videos" in the Events Library in iMovie - thanks for your post though (the 2 words are very similar).

You can't change the way Pages import .doc files.
It was never written that it reproduce exactly the original one.
From my point of view, as I refuse to give a cent to M...soft, the best way to deal with documents issued by their Office suite is to use the free libreOffice.

I ahve this problem too, my macbook is set up as an imap account for gmail, say I get an email and it shows as new in my gmail, iphone and macbook, and I then read it in my gmail, it is marked read on my iphone but stays as unread on my macbook.
This is really annoying as if I read emails during the day on another computer I can come back to them all being new on the macbook.
Is there a fix for this?

Hey everyone in Apple world!
I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

You may have blundered into "Full Screen" mode, an abomination ported from iOS, the iPhone Operating System, land of tiny screens and one-at-a-time Applications.
Try clicking the double-arrows in the extreme upper right of the MenuBar or Window.

HT4191 I have Notes that transferred to email when I set up a new email acct. They no longer appear in Notes. I can only access them in the email acct. How do I get them out of the email acct and back to the Notes app?

I stopped at an Apple store and they told me to copy them from the email back to Notes. But when I was in the email acct, I could not find a way to copy them. Shouldn't Notes remain in Notes unless I specifically send them somewhere else?

Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select that email account on the right-hand side of the screen and turn Notes 'on' for it - they should then appear in the Notes app instead of as an email folder in the Mail app (they will still be linked to that email account, so you may need to tap the 'Accounts' button at at the top left of the list of notes)

Click on the Menu bar and go to View . Or, hover over where the Menu bar shiuld be and click on it when it appears. Try quitting and relaunching Finder.
