When I click "burn CD" my CD is ejected.

Question

Hello,
Several months ago my computer suddenly decided to stop burning music CDs with itunes. When I insert a CD iTunes tells me I've inserted a blank disc. I can select the desired playlist and click the "burn disc" button. (The last playlist I tried to burn was 45 minutes and I'm using an 80min disc). Within 30 seconds, the tray ejects my blank CD. No error messages or anything other than the box at the top that says: Please insert a blank disc. When I push the tray back in, the same process starts again.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes several times. And I have the newest version of iTunes. It is not my CD burner or drivers, because I can burn CDs with other programs and the firmware is up to date. I am using the same discs as I was using before. And I haven't made any other changes that would effect my burner.
I would very much like to make some back up copies of the music I've purchased on iTunes, specifically the audiobooks that I've collected. None of the troubleshooting articles seem to be able to help.
When I run a disc diagnosis, I get the following messages:

The last failed audio CD burn had error code -128(0xffffff80). It happened on drive E: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GMA-4020B on -128(0xffffff80) media at speed 0X.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've had this happen to me once before. If a simple reboot does not fix it  (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your iPad until you see the Slide to Power Off on the screen and slide it over)  you'll probably want to try the 2 button hard reset.
That one is where you hold down both the Sleep/Wake button and your Home Button for 10-20 seconds until the screen goes blank and displays the Apple logo. When the device reboots you should be able to access Safari again.
Makes sure you close out of your extra open pages so nothing gets stuck in the background to cause this issue.. Tap the 2 boxes with the number in it just to the right of the back and forward arrows. Just X out of all those pages open in the background.
