When i click Firefox a message pops"profile not found" i tried uninstalling and re installing. Nothing works.
I have tried everything but nothing works. when i click Firefox icon a error message pops up saying"profile not found or installed" I installed Firefox so many times but the same error comes again and again.I need help really fast.Please help me. And thank you in advance.
reinstalling firefox won't help in this situation since it seems to be an issue with your filesystem or something preventing firefox from properly accessing the essential information stored in its profile.
if the work around from above (renaming the "Mozilla" folder within %appdata%) didn't work, you could also use the portable version of firefox: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

Error message 127 says to uninstall and re-install nothing works.

Just installed itunes but when i try to open it this error message pops up: "apple application required" then it suggests uninstalling and reinstalling which i've done a few times but nothing works
When you say you have tried everything, it would help if you told us what you have tried to avoid duplication.
When you installed iTunes did you get any error messages?
Anyway, on the face of it it may be worth trying a separate install of Apple application support.
Uninstall iTunes again. Now open Apple Software update, assuming it is working.
It should offer to download iTunes. Don't do it yet, go to the Tools menu and select Download only.
Then download iTunes. Then go to the tools menu again and select Open download folder and you should see a collection of six files.
Before going on, can you get to this stage OK?
One further thing I would like you to check, are you ahving any problems with Windows updates? Could you check in Windows Update to see if there are any failures. -
When I double click the Firefox icon on my desktop it brings me to a black screen rather than the Google start page. I tried updating Firefox and that didn't help. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but that did not help. I am using Microsoft Explorer to download and send this message. I have never had this problem before. Any ideas to help me get rid of the black screen so Firefox is functioning? Thanks in advance. Molly
Hi Molly, you probably found the answer in another thread by now, but this is caused by Firefox 33 being incompatible with older graphics card/chipset driver software. To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

When I open iWeb it does not "Highlight" the New site or new page options. It has had this issue for over a year! I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it. What do I do? It opens the tutorial video, then when you close it, nothing else is clickable.
Open iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option. That has jump started iWeb for others. I could take a couple of tries.
If that doesn't work try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.

First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
