When I click on a link in an email I get an error message. Only just started happening

When I click on a link in an email I get an error message saying:
General failure. The URL was xyz.... An error occurred when sending the command to the application

# Press Alt+T
# Select Options
# Select Advanced Panel
# Select General Tab
# You will see option "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload page"
# Uncheck it as given in the screenshot.
