When I click on a link in an RSS feed it used to indicate that I'd viewed that particular link by changing the icon to the left of the link. It doesn't do that anymore. This started happening right around the time I updated to Firefox 4, but may have been a little before that too. For some things, like news and web comics it's just a little annoying. For important things like looking for new journal articles for my job, it literally makes my job more difficult. So fixing this would make my day.
I seem to have solved my own problem. When I disabled the add-on "Tab Renamizer" everything started working fine.

Recently when I install apps, the icon does not appear on the menu screen, also, it shows that it is downloading at the app store and when complete, I can not open it or reinstall it. Has happened on the last 4 free apps. Help Please
Reset your iPad. Press and hold both the power and home buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till you iPad starts on it's own. Now try and download an app.

When I click on iPhoto(9.5.1) i get "To open your library with this version of iPhoto, it first needs to be prepared." but i downloaded the up-grader, used it and it tells me the library can open with the current version... What should I do?The upgraded is only necessary for libraries created with iPhoto '07 or eearlier. Just double click the library to open it in iPhoto, and let it upgrade, if it has been created by a newr version.

I tried the free for a little while Mobile me, and didn't use it, so cancled. I cannot get the sync status roundabout arrows out of my status bar. AND, they keep trying to sync.
Another issue related with this is that during the time that I tried out Mobile me, I had my ical alarm set to go off every 2 hours. NOW my computer has an ical pop-up every 2 hours. I cannot find how to stop it.
Another issue, Yahoo is trying to sync with my computer and I have no idea why or where that one came from.

Since downloading iso7 when I open iTunes Store the screen goes blank but the icons still come up at the bottom of the screen . Help???????
Go into the Music app and access the iTunes Store through it. You should on have to do so one time.

I have tried the solutions that I have seen already. Restarting the computer and then repairing through the Control Panel. It didn't work. I have removed the software and done multiple restarts and reinstalls. I'm running on Vista 64 bit and the last iTunes from last spring ran fine. Any other ideas? Or somewhere I can go to get an older version of software? Btw, when I tried to start Quicktime, I got the same message.

I have an ipad with 5.0.1 and trying to learn how to use it. When I click on the icon Calender, I get the calendar presentation but I do not know how to make an entry. Every tutorial I have looked at says that you click on a + sign in the lower right corner and then make your entry. I do not have a + sign on my screen. Can some one help me.

Here is how the Help tell me of Moving Photos (BUT IT DOESN"T DO THAT!!)
I do exactly what it says but it doesn't copy the file to another event. I can however copy them anywhere else. It is **** of a work to copy them to the desctop and back to the event I want to have them be in...Do any1 have any Idea why it doesnt copy??
Select Events in the Source list.
Command-click to select two or more Events.
Double-click one of the chosen Events to open them.
If you have set your preferences to use the Event double-click to magnify photos, move your mouse to the bottom of the Event’s key photo and click the “Show photos” button when it appears.
Drag the photos you want to move into the Event you want to add them to.
To select multiple photos that are not next to one another, hold the Command key down as you click.
The moved photos will appear at the end of the Event.
You can also use cut and paste to move one or more photos from one Event to another.
To do so, select one or more photos you want to move and then choose Edit > Cut (or press Command X). Then select the Event you want to move the photos to, and choose Edit > Paste (or press Command V). The photos are removed from one Event and appear in the other.It works for me. When you double click on one of the two selected Events (in the Events mode) do you get a window with the two events displayed like rolls were in iPhoto 6? I selected a photo from one of those events and dragged it (a green circle with the number of photos being dragged was created next to the cursor) into the other event. Worked as advertised like this.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -

This problem occurred shortly after updating to Firefox 5.0 I kept getting reminders to update to 5.0 When I finally decided to update, the first 4 or 5 attempts failed for one reason or another always with a different error message At some point after and extended shutdown of the computer 5.0 was initiated.
The updater wasn't able to update all the files and some were left as older versions.
You need to do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox. -
I have set up a number of RSS feeds to open in folders underneath the search/address bar in Firefox. I use them mainly to follow news updates from newspaper websites etc. After installing FF4, the opening of links contained in those folders (lists of links) using right-click and selecting the Open in New Tab command stopped working. There is no response whatsoever - as if I didn't click the command.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
