When I click on a tab it won't open

i upgraded to 33.02 and now my tabs do not show a top border and do not respond at all when i try to click on them.

I just downloaded the new 4.0 an now when I click on the tab it won't even load up, it'll look like the page will show up but then it won't an the it'll look like I never even clicked on it. What is going on? Why won't firefox work?

My firefox was working perfectly before when I had the 3.6 but now it just won't load up at ALL! I've dealt with it crashing on me while I was on the internet but I've never clicked on the tab OVER an OVER again an still not even having the home page show up on my screen. Try resetting your device. Hold down the sleep and home keys, ignoring the red power down slider, and release the buttons when you see hte silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
You won't lose any data, it's juat the apple equivalent of 'control/alt/delete' and often clears up glitches

I downloaded the numbers app but when I click on the icon it won't open on my iMac.

The app delivered for iOS can't run under OSX on a mac.
The app delivered for OSX on a mac can't run under iOS on iPhone or iPad.
They are different products.
I repeat that to run Numbers on you iMac you must buy Numbers for OSX delivered on Mac App Store or, if you are running an old operating system (older than 10.6.6) you may download the iWork's 30 days free trial version, install it, update it as iWork 9.0.4 and buy a registration code thru Apple Store.

Kept getting pop up messages to update Mozilla browser which I did today. When I click on the icon , it won't open. shouldn't be this hard!!

Updated to latest version today and it won't
open now. Have rebooted numerous times, even did a restore to 5 days ago and nothing works. Did an undo on the restore, still nothing. Have used firefox for years with no problems.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Error Message when Double-clicking a CS4 InDesign File; Won't Open

I recently installed CS4, upgrading from CS2. Before installing CS4, I could double-click the icon for the file and it would open in InDesign CS2. After installing CS4, when I double-click an InDesign file icon, I get an error message that Windows cannot open the file and needs to know which program should be used. I check the "Select the program from a list" and a window opens that lists several of the applications I have installed. Neither InDesign versions are on the list, so I "Browse" to the Adobe folder in which both InDesigns reside. I then select a version (it doesn't matter which one; neither work) but then it doesn't appear in the list and my "selection" reverts to the "recommended" Photoshop CS4.
I can understand if this function has disappeared in CS4, and we now have to open a file using the "open" menu item, but I can't understand why neither verison "sticks" in the "Open With" window.
Any suggestions? I'm using Windows XP SP2.

That's what I thought. I tried the folder options association trick at http://forums.adobe.com/message/2864550#2864550, which kind of worked. Now, when I double-click on an InDesign file icon, InDesign CS4 opens, but the file does NOT open. Looks like I'll have to reinstall, unless someone has an addition to the solution.

When I click on my apps They won't open

When I try to open my apps the it acts like its trying but it won't do anything. My safari and email is working fine.

If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.

I recorded a video on Photo Booth and dragged it to my desk top. then i wanted to record another video but when I click on photo booth it won't open. there is no question mark or anything. it just won't open. What should i do?

When I click file- new tab, or the + to open a new tab, nothing happens. The only way I can open a new tab is to right click from a web link. Additionally, this only happens for 1 of the 3 users of this laptop.

I am running version 3.6.15

Links in email won't open. When I click on a link, it goes to open tabs in FF, but the new link doesn't open.

When I get a link sent in an email, the link no longer opens when I click on it. When I click on the link, Firefox and the open internet tabs appear on my screen, but the new link does not open. I must manually copy the link, then paste it in the address bar to get it to open.

I have the same problem with FF 3.6.13, and Mac OS 10.6.5.
Clicking links in Mail opens FF, but does not open the URL. Safari has no problems when I reset it as my default browser. The problem seems to develop over time. At first, links open fine, but then all of a sudden they won't.
My remedy has been to reinstall FF, but I've had to do it twice in the last couple of weeks, which is getting a bit annoying.
I have not experienced the problem on either of my two older Macs (running 10.4, and 10.5).

My firefox won't create a new tab when I click on the tab. It will create a new window. It worked fine till this morning. I've rebooted several time to see if that would make a difference. It doesn't.

I can only create tabs by clicking on a link in an email or a program or a link in the window I am viewing. It will NOT create a new tab when I click on the tab to create a new tab, nor will it create a new tab when I right click on the tab & click on create a new tab. I'm used to using tabbed browsing all the time & it's driving me nuts. HELP!
I have not downloaded any new updates on any software or downloaded any new software in the hours before this started happening.
Just to clarify about my original question. I meant to say that firefox will create a new window when I right click & click on create a new window but will not create a new tab when I click on create a new tab. I think what I wrote may have been somewhat confusing.

When I click on my bookmarks they no longer open in a new tab, what do I do to fix it?

I just uploaded to the newest version of Firefox. Now, when I click on a bookmark the link opens in the same tab - they won't open in a new tab. However, when I click on a link in an existing page that link opens in a new tab. I miss having my bookmarked links open in their own individual tabs. Please put that function back in.

Some add-ons like Tab Mix Plus offer that as an option, but I do not recall that ever being a built-in function if Firefox.
