Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

First try a reset:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.
If that didn't work, then take it back and they will replace it

After logging on you yahoo this am, my calendar and notepad are gone. When I click on them I just get a blank screen. I am not very computer literate and need help getting them back.

When I usually go into yahoo mail, there is an icon at the top left hand side to access my calendar and notepad. They are both gone, but there is a field in the bottom left corner that has the buttons. When I click on either one, I just get a blank screen. I've not updated by Firefox to a new version and can't imagine what happened overnight.

Am very eager to sync Firefox on my new Android phone but after creating a sync key on my desktop I am asked to confirm not being a robot. It's called a "captcha" but you have given no hint at what url (/site) you are seeing this at. The captcha could be an image, you might not see third party images, it could be flash, you might be blocking an image with "Adblock Plus" or a hosts file. There may be other ways to depict an image and they might be blocked or missing a plug-in.

OK, I think I fixed it.
After trying to restore with an old backup from the phone (it estimated it would take 4 hours) I cancelled and went through the setup menus again, but set it up as a new phone. It then appeared in iTunes and I restored it from the computer, not the phone. It appears to be working, it's syncing my old apps right now.
Summary:
1. Reset settings on phone (hopefully you backed up fairly recently)
2. Set up as NEW iPhone in setup menu on phone
3. Restore from iTunes on computer when it recognizes the phone
4. Cross fingers

Tried installing Windows Vista, cancelled install and now it won't boot from the OEM Vista DVD, all i get is BOOTMGR is missing error... Ctrl Alt Del to restart and when i turn the computer on i get a blank screen and pressing C is not working to boot....

My friend started a installation of Windows Vista, but pulled out after deleting all partitions...
So now i power it on, get a blank screen (seems a bit gray because of backlighting, should show the apple logo right?)...

I have a OEM Windows Vista DVD in the drive, and i know... Windows 7 is better... but i'm not that fond of stealing software from Microsoft and i have 10 licenses for Vista...

Deleting Boot Camp partitions the conventional way will not work . You must use the Boot Camp Assistant to remove a Boot Camp partition. Here is a link to the guide.

The way to restart is to hold down the option/alt key during startup* and then selecting the Mac OS. If you have a valid Boot Camp install of Windows it would show up during this type of start up.
* hold down immediately after pressing the power button and until the OS choice screen appears.
To summarize.
1 Use the above method to boot into Mac OS.
2 Download the instructions and read them.
3 Use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition.
4 Pick your friends more carefully.

Windows 7. Dowload complete, but when I click on icon, I only get a google homepage and google toolbar. Never a Firefox page or toolbar.

I installed Firefox successfully yesterday. But when I click on the icon, the only page that comes up is a google home page with a google toolbar. No firefox visible at all as page or toolbar. Can't figure it out. Current browser in Explorer and I have a windows 7 operating system on a desktop.

Is Firefox in fullscreen mode? Try hitting F11 to see if the toolbar and navigation bar are just hidden. If you see a small ''Firefox'' button in the corner, hit ''Alt'' and go to ''view > toolbars'' and enable the ''Navigation toolbar'' and the ''Bookmarks toolbar''. The [[Back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]] article also has some good information in it.
You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]] and try setting your homepage to ''about:home''. This is the default Firefox homepage.
If that doesn't work you should look at the article [[Preferences are not saved]]. If you've upgraded from 3.6, you might also want to look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-upgrading-firefox-36#os this article with common questions after upgrading].

A few days ago i purchased an original iPhone from my friend that was broken. It would not load past the white apple logo when i turned it on. I put the iPhone in recovery mode and restored it to iOS 3.1.3 and assumed it would work after that. I however, was wrong! Ok!!! I found the way how to do it and everything is fine now. If someone has got the same problem as me you just need to restart your iPad. You hold the Sleep/wake button till the red line comes out then you scrol your finger on it and then after a minute you hold the same button again till the apple sing come out.

Firefox mobile does not work in Samsung Fascinate, only get a blank screen for any search.

I downloaded Firefox Mobile to my Samsung Fascinate. I had no problem with the download or installation. When I tried to do a search, all I got was a blank screen in the Firefox window. The Samsung Fascinate is set up to run only Bing. It does not like doing Google searches. When I try to force it to do a Google search through the existing Bing browser, I get the search result, but when I go to a site, none of the buttons work. In Firefox Mobile, I just get a blank white box in the Firefox window.

You can continue using nightly builds without uninstalling. Fennec will offer to download a new nightly build whenever one is available.
If you want to switch to a release version of Firefox, then you will need to uninstall the nightly build first. This will reset your history/bookmarks/settings.
We are planning to release Firefox 4 beta 2 for Android later this week, so if you prefer to run an official release then you might to wait a few days and install that one.

Convince yourself you really, really, really want a login manager.
