When i click on mozilla firefox i get a pop up that says proxy sever refusing to connect and i have been usinf mozilla firefox for the past two years

proxy sever will not connect

Is a proxy server required to access the internet at your location? Many businesses require the use of a proxy server but if your at home you shouldn't need a proxy.
To disable the use of a proxy sever click on the Firefox Button (or tools menu) then click options. Click on the advanced tab --> Click on the Network tab --> Under Connection click Settings --> Then click on circular button next to use System Proxy Settings. Hit OK then OK again to exit the options dialog.
