When I click on pictures in bridge, then it will open them directly in photoshop, how do I prevent this?
I have to select pictures in bridge and I want to check the sharpness of each picture. However, this is not possible because almost every picture that I click, opened directly in Photoshop or Camera Raw. And that is not the intention! How do I get rid of this? Excuses me, my English is very bad...

iTunes will not open at all. It looks like it will and then it doesn't (the windows loading symbol appears and then it disappears). I even tried uninstalling iTunes and downloading it again and installing it, nothing works! Please Help!
1. First check if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, to prevent having to do the same process everytime you restart Windows, go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.

I have a MacBook Pro and I have recently addd OSX. I disabled extensions on Google Chrome and Safari, but my Google search is still very weird. My search results are pushed down and random ads or links are first. It can be a link from Google search or on a website, I will be taken to a an ad to clean my mac or something like that. It's very frustrating to say the least and I don't feel comfortable purchasing things on here until everything is working properly.

I've tried going to Options > Tabs > open new window in tab instead and still it happens.

You might want to try trashing these files in your user /Library/Preferences. They may have become corrupt. Don't empty the Trash just yet. You can always use File>Put Back if this doesn't help.

com.apple.AddressBook.abd.plist (not sure you'll necessarily find this one.)
After doing this, go back and restore your Address Book preferences, which trashing these files will have removed. Moving the files back will return everything to the way it was before. New, clean preference files will automatically be created. -
Hi, I was importing pictures into iPhoto from my sd card and suddenly iPhoto quit. Now it just won't open. When I click on the iphoto icon in the dock, nothing happens! Does anyone have a solution to this problem please?
As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
If it does then your current library has been damaged and should be repaired: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
*Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
