When I click on preview all photo's open

Can someone please help me. When I click on preview, all the picture open up on my computer and not just the one that I want. It takes me ages to close everyone again.

I'm still new with the Apple product, can you please explain to me where to change this in System Preferences. Like I said, when I open a photo all the photos on my computer open and then I need to close everyone one by one. The other thing that is so frustrating is when I scan something on my computer, the scanned document open in preview and again all the pictures on the computer open. Your help will be appreciated. As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
If it doesn't your current library is damaged and needs repairing. Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

ITunes or iPhoto do not appear when I click the music or photo icons

I wish to add music & photos to my production in iMovie. But when I click the music or photo icons, iTunes and iPhotoe do not appear in the boxes that open. I can have them open in another window and drag them in, but this is not what is supposed to happen, what can I do ?

Do you mean you have checked the box: "Always use private browsing mode"? If so, it's intentional that the private browsing icon isn't displayed as we didn't want Firefox to be showing everyone within view that you're using private browsing mode IIRC.
There are some easy things you can do to confirm that you are in private browsing mode such as visiting a new website and then confirming it doesn't appear in the history window.

Thanks for your help. The out of numerical order comes before the actual import begins. It happens when first uploaded to Lightroom and prior selection of of photos to imported to the catalog.

Are you sure it doesn't start? Just opening preview doesn't open a file. Look in the top left of the menubar and see if it says preview. Double click on a PDF file and see if that opens preview.

If it works in a new window then you can drags tabs from the not working window to that new window.
You can also try to close the tabs via Ctrl+W and restore the closed tabs via Shift+Ctrl+T

I'm having the same problem in other places as well, for example when i downloaded Easyfind right now, clicking the small magnifying glass button on the right of the file name (shown below) would usually open up finder highlighting the file, but now nothing happens when i click on that button!
Is there a solution for this, as this was a very useful feature which i used ALL the time?

Error when i click on 'See all' when browsing podcasts on itunes

Right on my iphone i click on iTunes > More > Podcasts > Catagories > Technology ..
it displays a few results.. and when i click on See All i get an error "Your request could not be completed"
I have tried it using both wifi and 3g..
I also have a ipod touch 2g .. and the same thing happens..

I wish I had a solution for you. I have had the same problem since I upgraded my iPod touch to 3.1.2. It also nuked my podcasts. What a headache.

what version of iPHoto do you have? Of the OS? is the iPhoto icon you are speaking of in the Dock?

If you go to your Applications folder and double click on iPhoto what happen?

This issue means there is certain issue with your HOSTS file.
Just navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc on your computer, rename the HOSTS file and try to install. It will install.

When DW starts acting weird, the first thing to try is Deleting Corrupted Cache. Be sure to turn on Hidden files & folders in your Windows Explorer.
