When I click on the firefox logo, I can't get it to run
When I click on the Mozilla firefox logo, the browser doesn't come up.
I think we all should complain to Norton security about
labeling incredibar safe.

* [[Startup, home page and download settings]]
* [[How to set the home page]]
But... this might not stick if whatever switched your home page is still on your computer. Please also check:
(1) user.js file
This is a file that Firefox reads at startup which overrides your previous session settings. To remove this file, see the steps in this article: [[How to fix preferences that won't save]]. Note: If windows does show the .js on files like prefs.js, sessionstore.js, and user.js, you can turn off the hiding of file extensions using the methods in this article: [http://support.microsoft.com/kb/865219].
(2) Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program
Click the "Installed on" column heading to bring the most recent infections, I mean additions, to the top. If you recently installed some free software, it may have been bundled with whatever is responsible for changing your home page. Try to remove unwanted software here.
And... hopefully that will cure it! If you want to mop up a bit more, check out the cleanup tools other Firefox users have found helpful, in this article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]. -

I recently downloaded the latest version (15.0.1) of Firefox for my Mac. When i click on the Firefox icon, i get a display "Important Torbutton Information". It states "Torbutton is now always enabled. Click on the Torbutton for more information". I click on OK. I then get a display that states "THE PROXY SERVER IS REFUSING CONNECTIONS". I believe that i have two problems. 1. How do i fix the Proxy Server.
(2) How do i access Torbutton?
Someone has attempted to contact me by e-mail but it is not being accepted. My email address is: [email protected]See these articles for possible solutions:

I don't know how to give any more details than I have. Although there is an icon labeled Firefox 4.0.1 dmg in the dock (It is a square kind of thing that looks like a piece of paper with the upper right corner turned down with a smaller square inside it), it just seems to sit there. When I click on the Firefox symbol (also in the dock), it opens, but with the suggestion that I download Firefox 4. But I already did that. I don't understand what is going on.
For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4.0, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 . <br />
http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
Or you can get Firefox 3.6.16 here: <br />

When I click onto the firefox webbrowser, I get the message "firefox has stopped working, windows will close the application to find a solution to the problem."
I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.
Good Luck.

When i click on the firefox icon it doesnt open the firefox browser page
when i click on the firefox icon to open it no page loads
See:

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I got a new computer. With my old 512 mb ram HP, I had no trouble getting to my firefox homepage with bookmarks, etc. Now, when I click on the Firefox shortcut, all I get is some damn page telling me to download the new version of firefox. Which I already did!
See these articles for some suggestions:

I am not able to access my photos through the photo application... when I click on the photo app, I can see the camera roll, but a transparent "album" screen is over it and I cannot click on the photos to see it... can any one please help ???
Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

WHEN I CLICK ON THE SAFARI ICON I CAN"T OPEN A WEB PAGE
Does your email work and do you have an alternative browser installed to test with? Also, do you have any anti-virus software installed? There have been a few reports on here where AV has interfered with internet connectivity.
P.S. No need to type in caps as is considered to be shouting - I'm sure you wouldn't do that -
