AppleTV1 only supports HD upto 720p - chances are the iPad HD vserion is 1080p and beyond ATV1 capability.
Also do not expect recent iTunes purchases to appear on AppleTV 1 store menus as purchased - ATV1 does not know about 'cloud access'.
Best option is to download the 720p version (set in iTunes Preferences on computer iTunes) and sync/stream to AppleTV 1 from iTunes.

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

It is still asking for the four digit passcode. I tried using the one that was orgingally programed and it disables it every time. How can I get past this? Photos synced to your phone can only be removed from your phone the same way they got there, through the iTunes sync process. Connect your phone, iTunes running, & under the photos tab remove the checks for all albums/folders you do not want on your phone. Hit the apply/sync button & they will be removed from your phone.

You can have infinite tabs opening if you have selected Firefox as the application to handle a file if you get an ''Open with'' download window.
Firefox should not be selected as the application to handle a file and you have to remove the action that is associated with that file type.

Okay. Try checking "manually manage music and videos", and then click the flippy triangle next to your device. Then select the items you want to delete and just press Delete on your keyboard.

With iCloud emails (those of type me.com, mac.com or icloud.com), they should be deleted on all devices and computers when deleted on one - this assumes all devices/computers are logged into icloud using the same account.
For other email accounts that are not part of icloud, like Yahoo and personal domains, this will not work if the account is a POP account. In that case you must delete from all devices if the account is set up to not delete from the server.
