When I click on the "quick selection tool" in Photoshop CS5, and try to select something, it just "draws a line" as if the diameter were very thin and it dones't select anything.

With Numbers 3.2 (released April 2014) drag and drop works on my machine again, either onto the canvas or into an existing table.
What also works (as Wayne described): select multiple contacts, command-c to copy, and (after clicking the canvas or a cell) command-v to paste.

Delete the shortcut and make a new one. The 'real' application will probably be fine if you launch it from the Start/Programs menu.

Interestingly, it appears you did manage to get your podcast accepted in the Store - if you did this with an .html feed I'm a bit surprised it worked. I wonder whether you started with an .xml URL and it got changed by accident?
If you did manage to get the Store to accept a feed with an .html extension then you will need to change its attention to the revised version of the feed. This will mean that you will have to leave the present feed where it is, upload a version with the correct extension (having checked it works) and then add the 'itunes:new-feed-url' tag to the incorrect feed as described in this page:

Of course if you managed to change the extension by accident then changing it back should do the job.

Well, I went to a Sky Poker website and find it it seems to be something related to playing poker online and the currency is measured in pounds. I do not see anywhere on the website where it tells me that I can download an iPhone app, and when I search the App Store (US) I do not see a listing their either. You may need to send their support a question/email and ask if they have something in the app store and what the name of it is.

I have been working on an animation for an online ad. The file is 300 by 250. It's about 24 seconds long. I had completed and saved my work as a GIF file. I also saved some static JPGs of the animation. Everything was still working at this point. Then I closed Photoshop and reopened the PSD file to export it to a different format, but when I clicked on the time-marker in the timeline window or tried to edit my animation, I got this error message: "could not complete your request because of a program error." I looked in my library/preferances/adobe folder for photoshop's error log file. This is the error in that file:

Looks like issues with some linked smart objects... You could try and copy/ move the whole shebang to another location in the hopes that it either fixes the issue or PS completely forgets the linked files completely so you might relink/ replace them.

Since the last update, I cannot attach a file to my email in MobileMe. It has always worked until the latest update. Now, nothing happens when you click on the paper clip icon and 'choose' the file to add.

I am using MobileMe on my Mac. Until the last update a few days ago, Firefox always allowed me to attach files to my emails. Now, when I click on the paper clip, and it takes to me find the file I want to attach, and I highlight the file I want to attach and click on 'open', nothing at all happens. the screen just goes back to my email. It always worked before, it does not now. It DOES work on Safari but I hate Safari, i want to use firefox.

Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Check and tell if its working. Hope that helps!

I cannot open new tabs. The new tab button, new tab option on the file menu and the new tab option when I right click on the tab all do not work. This started when I updated Firefox Yesterday. It is becoming annoying when trying to work with multiple tabs open. How can I fix this?

Try uninstalling the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and the current version of Firefox.

Amessage pops up say there are other accounts that need to be updated and it gives me the account (old email address) which is an old account that I changed the name to new email address. What you are experiencing is 100% related to Malware.

You can't attach a screenshot to the first post that starts a thread, but you can do that in subsequent replies.
You can check for issues caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

When I go the yahoo, everything is in English but after I call up "mail" and log in with my user name and password, the result is a "yahoo hong kong"...and the directions are in Chinese. I need English directions to "send" to delete" etc. I can't read Chinese thanks,
