When I click on tools/add-ons, add-ons will not come up so it cannot be accessed.
I am trying to uninstall extensions that I think are causing problems with Firefox but I cannot get to add-ons. When I click on tools/add-0ns there is a brief flash and then nothing.
You can delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

You may also want to see if BBC has an app. things sometimes work better through an app than they do just through safari -

I purchased an album from the itunes store, and put it in a playlist. icloud status listed all the songs as purchased, instead of the usual "Waiting". When I clicked on "Update itunes Match", everything updated except this playlist. There is a cloud to the right of the playlist name. This has never happened before.
Any ideas?I deleted the songs from my desktop (iMac), then I used itunes match to reload the songs back on my desktop from my laptop. When they reappeared on my desktop, then I right-clicked on the songs and clicked on the option to add to icloud. This however did not work, and they just duplicated into icloud, but they were "greyed out" and unuseable. I hope I'm explaining myself clearly? In other words, the songs seem to be trying to go into the cloud, but they are greyed out in my library and cannot download. It is as if they are ghosts? My songs do play fine when I transfer them via itunes match, and everything appears normal. They just won't transfer via the cloud. As I said before, every other song in my library always work fine via the could, but only the songs off this one album that I bought from itunes in 07' will not work???

I've been using Firefox for about a year, and I use multiple tabs all the time. This evening, when I clicked to open a new tab, nothing happened. Firefox starts up and displays the first tab with the website I've specified, but when I try to open new tabs, nothing happens.
Probably caused by the Ask Toolbar extension in Firefox 3.6.13+ versions, disable that extension or un-install it.

Try taking it to the nearest Apple Store. They should have computers there that they can use to get your iPhone out of recovery mode. Make an appointment first.

I'm running Windows 7 with Nortton 360.if you are in a company, ask your network admin. if this is your own computer in your home, get the administrator previledge, ask yourself who installed the win7, ask him/her for the administrator account, use that account to login and install firefox.

A notice says: "A running script is insufficient...." often appears and I can not open my add-ons when I go to: Tool>Add-ons
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -

When I click on Tools, Options, the screen freezes
No matter what website I am on, when I click on Tools, and then click on Options, Firefox freezes. I cannot refresh, I cannot close the tab, I cannot close the browser session. The session does not close when I click on the Firefox icon in the start tray and click on Close Window. The only way to get the web browser to close is to Ctrl+Alt+Del and end the task (which always shows that it is "Running"). I have waited as long as 5 minutes for the browser to Refresh or Close, and nothing happens.
You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
