When I click something that opens a new window, the new window wont load??

can anyone help? It's usually when I click on like a "chat live" link for a website like zappos, or my cable company.

My system is Windows 7 SP1 fully updated with Norton 360 a/v
My problem is as follows:
Installed Firefox with no difficulty
It opened normally
Used and setup Google News UK as default page with no difficuly and page opened normally.
But then trried to open individual items in Google News and every time got message Internet Explorer cannot open this site
Set up a bare Windows 7 SP1 drive and installed Firefox and continued with same message when opening items on the page
I also use both MSN and Yahoo browsers and neither have any problems
I have repeated the process in Windows 8 beta with the same result

In my events the key photos no longer show up and the picture amount reads 0, but the pictures are still there when I click on that event. Why does the amount read 0?

In some of my events in iphoto no pictures show up in the key photos. In others they do. I just upoaded some and no problem. I noticed that in the lower right corner of each event with no key photo the photo amount reads zero. I click on that event and all of the photos do show up. Does anyone know why this is happening, or have come across this before? Thanks, Daryl

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.

When I click on a link, I would like the new web page to open in the same window. What settings do I need to do this ? Thank you.

Not able to open printing preferences in the print window

Hello-
When I click print to print a document and the print window comes up, I click on properties and nothing happens. The correct printer (HP Photosmart Plus B209a) is listed, but the button does not respond. I am able to open the print properties through the HP solution centre and have set-up a couple of custom short cuts, but since I can't open the properties button on the print screen, it defaults to the everyday printing selection, which for this document is not what I want.
Any suggestions?

I have a small adware box on the bottom left corner of the internet everytime i get on and sometime when i click something it will open a new window forilivid

Ive been experiencing some weird pop up style ad ware for i livid down loader my mouse pointer will not turn into the little hand it will stay arrow and when i click it will open a new page so i uninstalled chrome and switched back to Firefox and i get this new ad type box that is sofa-king annoying.. there are some forums exspaining this same type of ad if u google but the answer did not work- fake flash plugin...

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). 
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]] 
 
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

I just did two System Restores (and clicked something that asked me about "[something -exe]," and now Firefox won't open at all.

I hope someone can help. My husband did something to update Firefox (or Firefox just automatically updated today, I don't know which), but I didn't like the new toolbar much, so I did a System Restore to get back the old one. That didn't work, so I then did another System Restore for an earlier day, but when I restarted the computer, Firefox wouldn't open at all.
A pop-up asked me something about "allowing 'something-.exe' at start-up," with options like "Remember this action, don't allow, and allow," I think, and I don't remember what I clicked, and that's likely part of the problem, but in any case, I can't get Firefox to start now. When a web page opens a link in a new window, the new page/window is always blank and all i can do is click on the x in the top right corner to get rid of the page

Not sure if that can be done but you can press the Expose key which will show all open windows.

I do NOT like when I click "Find" that it opens in a separate window. I liked it being at the bottom left of the page and staying there. It's irksome the way it is.

Also, it is a little irksome that Firefox automatically uploaded the new 9.0 version. I was purposefully not uploading it. I thought it was loading updates to 8.0. You need to add more detail and have a way to give us an option not to update when the pop-up appears.

The Find bar is still at the bottom of the browser window, just above the Add-on Bar if you have it set to appear. No change with it in Firefox 9.0.

Track 10 'Phase' wont download. Ive tried restarting, left it over night then tried again, etc. Say's the file is corrupted.
Keep getting message "Check available downloads" but when I click on that it doesnt do anything? All other tracks are fine.
