When i click the icon on my desk top, "HP solution center" i get message that device cannot be found
I have a 7400 officejet all-in-one. On my desk top i have an icon for the HP solution center that among other things allows me to scan a picture. Recently after setting up a network to share the printer via wireless connection when I click the hp solution center icon i get a message that says, "no hp devices have been detected. Hp solution will close now."

in case this doesn't solve the issue or does not apply to your system, start firefox into safemode '''by pressing the shift key while the application is launching''' & disable hardware acceleration in the firefox ''menu ≡ > options > advanced > general'' (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

I just purchased Time Capsule today. I ONLY want to use it as an external drive. I do not need it for Time Machine. I need to free up room on my computer. As of now, I can't even load updates. Just need to be sure your TC is the new AC model??
And the OS on the computer is Lion?
Have you completed the setup of the TC via the utility? You do still need to get internet via the TC so it has to be plugged into the main router..
Give us the full picture of the network.

IPhoto is not showing up when I click the icon
IPhoto is not responding when I click the icon. It loads and shows at the top of my header, but nothing shows up on the screen. I am able to see my photos in FINDER under iPhoto library, but not within the iPhoto program. I have already attempted to "repair my iPhoto library" and attempted to put my start up disc of iLife '11 in the drive, but it will not let me install. Any suggestions?
If the Menu bar up top is showing iPhoto then the usual reason is that the window had disappeared from sight behind the dock or similar.
Try going to SystemPreferences/Displays and choosing another resolution for your display. This will force the Mac to redraw the screen and the various windows should then show up in the centre. You can then change it back. -

A week ago firefox began taking a long time to launch sometimes requireing reclicking the icon.
Now it will not launch at all.
I get no error messages, nothing happens when I click the icon.
HELPA possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I downloaded firefox 4 and used it for a few days and then it ceased to open up when I clicked the icon or went through the start menu. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still does not open.
Have you tried opening in Safe Mode - Hold down the Shift key as you double click.

In case you haven't solved this by now...
Sometimes your security software will block new programs from accessing the internet. Are you getting any alerts along those lines?
Sometimes Firefox will stall during startup and never display its window. In that case, you may need to manually "kill" the firefox.exe process using the Windows Task Manager before trying to start Firefox again.
You can display the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Esc. Windows 8.1 has a different display than Windows 7, so I have to go by memory. If you see a tab named Applications, check that one first. Then check Processes, and finally check Details. If you find Firefox or firefox.exe on any of those tabs, select it and End Process (or other action to shut it down).
After you are done with the Task Manager, try starting Firefox up again.

I don't know what "security software" you're trying to download, but the chances are overwhelmingly good that you don't need it, and it's likely to do more harm than good. -
Trying to redeem a free download for a song from KLove. When I get into my acct & try to redeem it, it just keeps bringing up the "sign-in" box. When I click the button on KLove's webpage to redeem it takes me to that page but does the same thing

my computer came with itunes which i used successfully but my nephew installed an other music program that i deleted and ever since then I can no longer open my itunes from the icon on my desk top. I just get the spinning circle for a few seconds and then nothing.

Since iTunes updated my PC my other devices are not seen and I keep getting message "The procedure entry point sqlite 3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite 3.dll", how do I get my other devices to be found? or do I have to remove all Apple software.
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.
