When I click "Tools" and then "Options" Firefox freezes instead of opening the Options dialog box. What can I do?
No more details, this is it: it freezes when trying to open "Options" from the Tools drop-down menu.

I am trying to do something that requires Flash Player, but even though it shows in my control panel, and it is the latest version, I keep seeing a notice that it is disabled, and it does not appear in the list of plugins, so I don't know how to enable it.
I have been installing the same version over and over again since yesterday, but when I go to check the plugin, a box appears saying it is disabled. When I click "File" and then "New" it keeps opening a new file as a layer and not a background. RGB is selected as the mode.
With new files opening as a layer and not a background I'm not able to create multiple layers and it wont let me convert the layer to the background.
How did this happen. I used PS just yesterday and had no problems. Today my computer did mandatory updates and now this.Yes. You are using the Ellipse Tool's Pixel option. So it is laying down pixels as it is supposed to do without creating a layer.
Choose the Shape option:
Also Layer menu > New Layer creates layers and the curled paper at the bottom of your Layers palette also creates a New Layer. I hope those work. -
When I click on an active link from another application, it opens the firefox application, but won't open open the page - it just opens Firefox or takes me to Firefox. No new tab or window is opened and the link is not displayed.
Firefox sent an email to me to confirm that I had asked the above question. The email had a link to click. When I clicked it from Firefox, nothing happened. Then I opened IE, signed into Comcast, opened the email, clicked the link, and it brought me here.

I was in Singapore when I created this Apple ID and payment information. Now I am have shifted to India and I am unable to update the Country and Payment related information. When I click on country no option comes up. Can somebody suggst anything?

what do i do if my internet is wep and i need it to be wpa2 because my ipod touch 4th gen connects to the internet but when i click on safari or itunes it says safari cannot open the page because its not connected to the internet. i have contacted apple support and they said to change from wep to wpa2 but when i change it to wpa2 and type in password and connect on my laptop it says the saved setting on this computer for the network do not match the require ments of the network
My 2nd gen works fine with WPA2 and AES encryption.
You may need to go back and start over. Reset the router back to factory defaults, log on as the admin, set up security, DHCP, and make sure the IP address pool has enough IP addresses to lease to ALL of the computers/devices that will connect to that the router. -
does anyone know how to view text in Appleworks, to be able to click on the font button and then be able to scroll thru all the font so that one can see it change as you scroll down the list, at present I have to do it one font style at a time and then repeat? Thanks jl

Is the mute button on the side of the phone switched on?
Also go to settings, scroll to the bottom and ensure that "Keyboard Clicks" is set to on. Make sure that the "Ringer and Alerts" volume is not set at zero in this menu. -

Not sure. Possibly since I got a new laptop with Win 7 or maybe since my last Firefox update. I usually have a very current version of Firefox and Thunderbird. My laptop is 64 bit.
Check the value under Tools -> Options -> Applications, filtering for '''mailto''', and make sure it is set to Thunderbird.

I am experimenting with Keynote, so I am trying things that push the boundaries. I have two movies -- I want the first one to play and disappear and then for the second to appear and then start playing. I can get either one of these options, but not
