I have the same problem. Firefox won't unload regardless of how long I wait. Literally hours ... I must go in and 'end the process'. This has been a real hassle for a while now. Even considered giving up on firefox. Please look into this! An additional problem; I have to run firefox to get the updates, but I can't get the updates to take because I can't get firefox to unload so I can restart it.

I've been on it a bunch lately, plus I tend to watch a lot of movies, back to back, streaming, from Netflix. My laptop was hacked so badly that it was taken back to factory settings and I now use Glary Utilities and CCleaner every two weeks. I use AVG as antivirus. Monthly I run Glary, CCleaner, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Disk Cleanup and Dfrag.
I haven't given my computer a break to breathe. I've been updating my information, like I said already, on all those websites, which is like neverending.
I do have to use Internet Explorer for some things, but Firefox has actually been staying open on my system a lot more than Internet Explorer has been crashing. And I swear, there are no indicators to me, other than opening up Task Manager, I suppose, and I haven't done that, that Firefox is staying open. It truly is looking totally closed. Yet my laptop is giving me this weird message stating that it isn't, so I click Restart, and open it again, then go on my merry way with my work in Firefox.
I have no idea how to tell if my plug-ins are old or not cooperating with my current, updated version of Firefox.
Can somebody dummy their answer down, please? I will give you more details if you ask for them. I don't know what other details to give. I did read through the other options, and this is what fit me the best, I thought. Who knows. Firefox already running, to properly shutdown Firefox when closing the last window use File → Exit/Quit (or Firefox button → Exit). Closing Firefox with the [X] in the upper right corner closes the window ("Ctrl+W") but that does not necessarily close Firefox if it has subtasks running. When I try to start Firefox, I get a message that it is already running, but not responding and that I should close it before trying to run another Firefox. But I cannot find a way to close Firefox program that is not running as far as I can see. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but that did not work. I'm trying to re-install itunes on my laptop & I am getting a message that has stopped the re-install & it says: "Service 'Apple Mobile Device" (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." The diaglogue box gives me the options to abort, retry, or ignore; when I tried retry and ignore the re-install process stays stalled & the dialogue box comes back & I don't want to abort & start this all over to probably end up with the same issue; what does this mean & what do I do?

Upon starting my PC I get a message that ApplePhotoStream.exe has stopped working. Windows will close the program and advise if a solution is found. Nothing happens and I can no longeer send photos from my ipad2 to my computer using PhotoStream. Please, any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Yesterday when I opened up the iPhoto (which I have it in my external drive due to the size of file) I get the message that it is not compatible with the new system(or something like that) and ask me to upgrade so I did. Then another message pops ups and asked for rebuilding the Thumbnails. So I clicked rebuild. Next it asked me to do one of three things(I can't remember all of them) so I chose the last one which is to download a photo to iPhoto. Now I only have that photo I downloaded in iPhoto file but not the rest of my pictures. The iPhoto library which is stored in my EHD shows it has 349GB but it only show one thumbnail of the last picture I downloaded after the rebuild process. What can I do to recover the rest of the file?

When I try to make a purchase or downlowd from iCloud I get the message that my Apple ID is disabled, how can I fix this?
Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -

I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"
Any ideas?

I'm getting a message that says itunes cannot run b/c some required files are missing. Please reinstall itunes. I'm scared to because I don't want to lose my music.
Reinstalling iTunes simply replaces the application. It shouldn't affect your media. You do have backups, right?

I have purchased a digital download of elements 13. I have downloaded it onto my lap top . When I try to download it onto my desk top I am getting a message that the activation code is invalid.
I just figured out a solution. I connected my ipod to my computer, went to the 'info' tab on the menu for my ipod. I checked 'Sync Mail Accounts', which were greyed out until I selected them. That connected me to the Cloud and everything went back to normal. Hope this helps someone else!
