When I connect itouch to the pc i can't click on any of the music stored?

Hey i just bought an itouch 2nd generation and have just finished transferring all my songs in my itunes library onto it. I did this by selecting them all and dragging them. A couple of songs did not transfer as I had moved them to a diff folder. On my itunes library I located them succesfully and then tried dragging the couple of songs individually onto the ipod - no dice.
I clicked on my ipod music and the entirety is all in grey text and can't be clicked. I can't right click, select any song, or sort them by artist, genre, song, etc. It is as though the ipod library is frozen - yet i can still scroll. This is the same for the movies. (and i've only uploaded movies and music). As far as I can tell, itunes is not doing anything - such as syncing or updating album artwork - so I can't figure out what's wrong.
When i unplug the ipod, i can locate the music on the machine - it's just when i plug into the computer.

Not true -- if you manually manage the Touch you can drag and drop to it. You can also see exactly what's on the Touch, not just a "summary". As a device in the source column in iTunes, expand the Touch's contents by clicking the small triangle to the left of the Touch's name. You'll then be able to browse the various folders on the Touch (i.e. Music, Video, etc.) Even if you auto-sync, you can expand the Touch's contents to see what's on it (though you can't edit it).
By the sounds of it, the OP has the Touch in auto-sync mode, which won't let you drag and drop nor edit individual items on the Touch. Maybe it started in manual mode, but was changed to auto-sync mode.

Working means that the software is trying to communicate with the device. If it never changes from working then something is wrong. Try rebooting your PC and the BlackBerry. If that doesn't help then remove and reinstall the latest Desktop Manager.

I can't click on any of the library search results in itunes

Hi all. When I'm searching my library in the search box, the results come up, but I'm unable to click on either the plus sign, arrow or right click on any of the search results. First off let me say, I've read about the "untick 'search entire library' " option, but that's not what I'm looking for. I actually like the full library search with dropdown results, but unfortunately it seems to be broken. I can't figure out how to really fix this. I'm not looking for a workaround, I'm looking for the actual solution. Thanks!

Check out the articles below to troubleshoot iTunes. You may have to completely remove iTunes and its related software and then reinstall it.

This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). We want you to be able to enjoy all your music! Were all the songs downloaded from the same source? Are all the songs that play at the low volume from the same place? Is the music you are listening to stored on your device or a 3rd party application?

Try:
- Going to NF support site/contacting them
- Try a different adopter
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

When you first hook it up it will probably have the display set in Extended Desktop mode. The Menu Bar and Dock will be on the MacBook display and your background screen on the TV but you can move the cursor onto the TV screen.
In System Preferences>Display on the MacBook screen there should be an Arrangement tab when you have the MacBook hooked up to the TV and both screens working. When you click the Arrangement tab do you see two monitors side by side? One of them will have a Menu Bar at the top. Just click on the Menu Bar and drag it to the second monitor. That will make the second monitor your main screen.
The TV will now have the Dock and Menu Bar and windows will open on it. But you can move the cursor to the MacBook screen and move windows from the TV over to the MacBook screen.
You can now use your MacBook in Clamshell Mode with a wired or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131 When you disconnect from the TV your Menu Bar will automatically change back to the MacBook.
Or if you want to use the MacBook’s keyboard and trackpad to work on the MacBook screen while showing it on a TV you can check the Mirror Display box on the lower left hand side of the Arrangement tab under the two monitors box. That will give you the same screen at the same resolution on both the MacBook and the external monitor.

Quite right, but as the OP does not have component or composite connections not important.
To the OP, this does work, but is not the cheapest, and as it appears that Apple no longer sell an SVideo adaptor cable 3rd party it will have to be.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
