When I connect my iphone 3gs to my desktop it is not charging and showing nothing. The computer is not giving any signal that I've connected my iphone to it. Please help me out how to fix it. I did the scanner and camera wizard but its of no use.

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

No it doesn't. Sometimes it make a sound that it should when connecting but that is it. Never actually charges or syncs. And it is a brand new cord.

To take a screenshot hold ⌘ Shift 4 to create a selection crosshair. Click and hold while you drag the crosshair over the area you wish to capture and then release the mouse or trackpad. You will hear a "camera shutter" sound. This will deposit a screenshot on your Desktop.
If you can't find it on your Desktop look in your Documents or Downloads folder.
When you post your response, click the "camera" icon above the text field:
This will display a dialog box which enables you to choose the screenshot file (remember it's on your Desktop) and click the Insert Image button.
⌘ Shift 4 and then pressing the space bar captures the frontmost window.
⌘ Shift 3 captures the entire screen.
Drag the screenshot to the Trash after you post your reply. -

Hello everybody,
I have a NSwindowController < NSWindowDelegate > (with windowWillUseStandardFrame implemented) which is supposed to fix the position of my window.
Except never this method is called ! Nevertheless there is indeed a delegate...
In fact in the launch of my soft, the system makes little as it wants: it cascades me windows or keeps me the last position of every window.
I tried to deactivate the cascading, the same problem...
All the directives concerning the NSWindow seem to be ignored !
I do not know if it is a pure coincidence, but since I passed of a macBook 13p under 10.6 (XCode 4.0.1) in a mini mac with screen 24p under 10.7 (XCode 4.3), everything seems not to work any more as before ?!
I wish I can align in the topleft of my screen all my windows (I tried all the concerned methods, the same problem) to loosen me of the resolution of the screen.
If you have an idea, it will be welcome.

It is not complex, within Cocoa simple things are easy to implement (and complex are possible). If you find it the other way you made a mistake somewhere.
In your case I would start by putting a breakpoint in the methods and run the application in Debugg Mode.
And if :
- your method is not called
- your window is 0x0 inside the method
Closely look in Interface Builder if the connection is correct between your window and its variable in code and if your controller object is well assigned as its delegate. For that just select the window object in the nib and do a right/control click on it to see if it is well connected with controller's objects (alternatively use the Menu -> View -> Utilities -> Show Connections Inspector).
As for the time to call your "fix" method what about the "- (void)windowDidLoad" call in your window controller subclass ?
I had lots of troubles to get it called when I started with Cocoa. For it to works you have to be sure the window is well connected in IB to your window variable. And you need to load that f*¿!^ fichue window by any call to it via your controller like

There is no signal bein sent to my projector at all. I tried changing the wires as well as projector... still no signal. I don't know what seems to be the problem. I even got another adapter to see and I got the same results... no signal. I wonder if the update to Lion had something to do with it.
Same here, Macbook Pro 15" with Lion installed, does not detect the huge projector in a lecture hall, complete desaster last Monday before lecturing. Today, I have noticed that a restart of the computer helps ... immediate detection of the projector. Strange ... I never had to reboot my Mac to detect a projector but know this only from Windows users.

Is there any any option for two users to work on a single indd. file at the same time. (Just like working on a shared file in Microsoft Excel).
Note both make changes at the time on different pages.
To save time...Another option, if the file is a large mupltiple page design, is to divide the document into chapters or sections. Save each section as a separate InDesign file and then combine them using a book (.indb). File > New > Book...
Different users could edit the individual sections or chapters, and then when all is ready to go, the book can be used to package the documents, export to PDF, etc.
Not very efficient for small documents, but it can make life easier for long documents.

Please help!! How to implement a company directory with OSX and exchange?
We just have our exchange setup correctly with our Snow Leopard clients. Everything is working perfect, email, calendar. The only problem is despite the OSX's Address Book being integrated, there is no possible way to view everyone in the company. In the online web outlook, one can access the "global address list".
How do we setup a company list in OSX's address book?I would suggest prototyping it, and gaining some experience. Each installation I've done has been different, and with different requirements.
You can get a list from LDAP, but you have to search for it, and you'll get the matching subset. It's not what an Outlook user would be accustomed to. An Outlook user would think the non-LDAP display from Address Book would be familiar. Unfortunately, AB doesn't provide write-sharing by default, and while enabling write sharing is feasible, there's a recent post from somebody that's discussed this with Apple support indicating that Apple has stated that corruptions are possible with that path.
Mac OS X Server is not a drop-in replacement for an Exchange server. Not by default. And Mac OS X Server is also lacking a direct analog to Sharepoint, FWIW; you can add that and implement parts of Sharepoint, but not all of what that product provides.
Kerio might be an option for Mail and LDAP and related, but at extra cost. Kerio also gets you push notifications to Apple devices, and some folks need that feature of Exchange. -

How to know whether a servlet had completely sent its response to the request.
The problem what i am facing is, I send response to a client's request as a file.
The byte by byte transfer happens, now if the client interrupts or cancels the operation, the response is not completed.
At this stage how to know the response status. I am handling all exception, even then I am unable to trap the status.
Please help me out.

Please check the code what I have written. The servlet if I execute in Javawebserver2.0 I could trap the exception. If the same servlet is running in weblogic 6.0 I am unable to get the exception.

Give us link to the problematic file so we can check it out.
Meantime - if you animate regular text and use STATIC font,
you don't need to embed
anything. Make sure text is not set to DYNAMIC.
