When I create a new email and start typing, I get an error after two characters

This has been bothering me for months.
When I create a new email and start typing, I get an error after two characters (see below). I thought maybe it was a particular person's contact, or it was because I typed too fast, but it is not. Doesn't matter what email address I use, or how long I wait, the first address errors and I have to erase it and start over. Sometimes I have to try several times.
Very annoying. I am using the latest build of Safari on a Mac.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One of my set of home pages is the basic Google search page. When I open this, I can immediately start typing and the words appear in the Google search box.
If however I open a new tab (white cross far right of tab bar) and start typing, the words appear in the address bar, not in the Google search box. Of course once I click in the search box I can carry on: but I'd like to make it start there as it does with the homepage.

If you want a specific webpage (like the Google page) to always open when you open a New Tab, you can use the following add-on to Open New Tabs with your Favorite Pages:

I invoked New Mesage
I typed a Name in Manually (rather than using the blue + icon)
I clicked on the "to" name and got this

I don't get a Bonjour Option here.
I do get a Jabber ID showing up for them but for soem reason it does not list my "From" account.
I would say that I have seen multiple "To"s and the same for the "From" choices and I think I have seen the Bonjour one listed.
However the "To" And "From"s don't seem to match and it appears you can iMessage Jabber names/ID or Jabber AIM names (which you can't in either case)

You could try contacting iTunes store support. If you can proove your identity to their satisfaction, such as by answering your security questions correctly, they may be able to do something for you so you can regain control of the account. Although this is an iCloud issue, I'm suggesting iTunes store support because they deal with Apple ID issues all the time. This may be caused by a corrupt existing backup that needs to be deleted, or by data on your device that is causing the backup to fail. To troubleshoot these, try deleting your last iCloud backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, tap your device under Backups, then tap Delete Backup. Then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on and try backing up again.
If it still won't back up, you may have an app or something in your camera roll that is causing the backup to fail. To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again. If the backup is successful, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is causing the backup to fail and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again. If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again. If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails. Eventually you'll be able to locate the problem app and exclude it from your backup.
In the meantime you can back up your phone to your computer by connect it, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Back Up. Also be sure to transfer your purchases (File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). Then set up your new phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iTunes Backup and follow the prompts to restore this backup to your new phone. This will be much faster than using iCloud anyway.

Running Firefox 4.0 on Mac OSX 10.6.6, using ATT mail, when I create a new email I get a browser message saying, "This page requires a plugin that can only run in 32-bit mode," and I have to restart Firefox in 32-bit mode. Is there any way around this?

I am assuming the plugin that the Firefox message is referring to is for attaching a file to the email. I say this because at the bottom of a new email it has a link that says "Attach files more easily" which, when you click it, takes you to a setup process where you download an att updater. I ran that and it did seem to change anything. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to make Firefox handle this page without having to restart in 32-bit mode every time.

That means that you need to run Firefox in 32 bit mode if you want to use that plugin.

When I create a new track and region, the new region copies the previous region contents; why?

In trying to experiment with new instruments included in 10.1. , I create a new instrument track and region, nominate the new instrument, and... I see that the empty region I just created isn't empty at all, it is filled with the notes created in a previous track, and no sound... is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

You can highlight the URL in the Location Bar of a Tab you want to duplicate and use '''{Alt + Enter}''' or you can '''Middle-click the Reload button''' at the right-side of the Location Bar (no need to highlight the URL there).
Both of those methods will work whether you have '''''Tabs on Top''''' selected or not.

Firefox crashed and quit working and since then crashes when I try to open it; I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, creating a new profile, and starting in safe mode - what else can I try?

I don't know how to get to the crash ID since I can't get into the Firefox window to go to 'help'.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx). On my Yahoo emails and certain websites I get an error message. I download and install Flash Player and I still get the error. How can I fix this? It's very annoying because I have to use IE instead.

When I use IE I don't have this problem. It's only with Firefox.

The current Flash is Shockwave Flash 10.3.181.26 You have both Shockwave Flash 7.0 r19 and 10.0 r45 -- you will probably have to uninstall the 7.0 version through the control panel, do that first. Use the Adobe page to update as you are less likely to get crapware install suggestions from that page.
Afterwards run a plug-in update type in about:plugins into location bar and hit enter at the top of the list is a link for for plugins test which you should check out<br>

You are on Windows 7, which means you've got decent hardware and software, you should be on Firefox 4. www.mozilla.com to get the latest version.
Next week Firefox 5 comes out, your toolbar changes changes to Fx4 will still work in Fx5. Then ...

If you install "Adblock Plus" extension with a filter subscription such as "EasyList US" which you can subscribe to from the extensions options options once installed. That will eliminate many flash ads, and help somewhat with news sites which have a lot of Flash pages but possibly only the ads start automatically.
