If you mean a iCloud backup then, no, the photo will not be saved in the next iCloud backup.

No, however your next backup will not contain the photo as it is no longer on your phone (and iCloud only saves approx. 3 older backups so the one containing the photo will eventually no longer be available). Also, a word of caution...it seems like many users end up losing some or all of their photos when restoring to their iCloud backup. To be safe, don't rely on the backup but instead import your photos (and videos) to your computer, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

and is this ok.Phil, thank you for that info. I just found the incoming section, but is different from what you show. I don't have the "Delete from server" setting on my phone. After Authentication mine shows IMAP Path Prefix/ and then goes to the Server Port as the next setting. This is in my work email account and the one I really want to save on the server. Any other idea or explanation on why different??
On my personal account (Yahoo), the advanced screen was much different, but I think I found the same setting and changed it to never. That one appears to be working.

Have tried re-building database and it crashed

I'm running a Mac Pro and my main drive of 3 hard drives has 238.24 GB of available space
The strange thing is I have 3 different logins, one for my iphone, one for my partners iphone and one for our ipad, when I back my phone up I have 3000+ photo's in iphoto and it crashes when it gets to the last 300 or so, same for my partners iphone which has 2000+ photo's, but I tried the ipad which has 600 pictures on the library and it back-up fine without crashing?

How can I stop this happening?That's the way IMAP and Exchange accounts work. They synchronize the message store completely between the server and all clients.
If you don't really want to delete it, then don't delete it. File it into a folder instead. -
I want to be able to deleted my emails from my iphone but i want then to remain in my gmail account once i go to my computer. the problem i have now is that when i delete my emails from my iphone they immediately get delete from my gmail account

Are you talking about mail messages?
Try Settings > Mail > your mail account > Advanced > Delete from server, and set it to 'never'
And if it's an IMAP account try turning on "Archive Messages".

We are all responsible for what we say and do, but that doesn't mean we should have the ability to delete our mistakes. It's not like you can delete emails or phone calls or even physical mail.
Very often, and that's actually why I searched this thread, I send a message to someone else than the one I thought. That's life, I mean, this is not just about agressive people. I would appreciate to be able to recover my mistake, and to not bother the wrong recipient, cancel the message. Plus, it can be something confidential.

charles altmanReplying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

My photos taken from my iPhone are not appearing in my iCloud account home page. In fact there isn't even a photo icon on my iCloud homepage. In the settings section of my iphone, I have the Photo Stream turned to "on" within the iCloud setting so i'm not sure what the problem is. Any thoughts?
Everything is fine, because there is no web application for photos at the moment. These are the options to view your Photo Stream:
-On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, your photos will appear in the Photos app in the Photo Stream album.
-On your Mac, they appear in the Photo Stream view in iPhoto or Aperture.
-On a PC, your photos download to the Photo Stream download folder. By default, this folder is located at C:\Users\Apple\Pictures\Photo Stream\My Photo Stream. You can change this location by visiting Photo Stream Options in the iCloud Control Panel for Windows.
-On Apple TV, your photos will appear in the Photo Stream view under Internet in the main Apple TV menu after you sign in with your iCloud account. -
How can I change the settings wit mail so that when I delete my Verizon email from my iPhone it will also delete from my iPad too.... Seems like I shouldn't have to delete my email in three places...iPhone ..iPad ...and desktop
Don't know which email host you are using, but if this is a POP account, you can't do it. If IMAP, then deleting one email should delete it on all other devices.

I love checking my emails on my iPhone because of the convenience, but every time I delete a message on my iPhone, the message stays in my Hotmail inbox, and the next time I use my laptop, I have to delete tons of old messages. Is there anyway to make it so that when you delete messages via iPhone, they are deleted in your Hotmail inbox? Any help would be appreciated!

I Enjoyed the convenience of the photo stream because it allowed me to keep my photos organized. What was on my device was separate from what was in the photo stream. Now, it seems whenever I delete a photo from my device, it also disappears from the photo stream. How do I stop or change this?
If you disable iCloud Photo Library (Beta) you will be able to see the Photo Stream and the Camera Roll Album again as separate albums in the Album tab. If you delete photos from the Camera Roll Album, the photo should stay in the Photo Stream.
