When i dont press the button i want the value start to decrease by itself

Dear all,
I am controlling a numeric control value in the front panel : I am pressing increase button to increase the value, but what I want is that when i stop pressing the increment button the numeric value should decrease by itseft (automatically) Please, I need your help.

A car does not decrease the speed linearly to zero.
If you are controlling a real car with real hardware, it will decrease to zero automatically due to friction and wind resistance, so why would you need to program it?
If you are trying to simulate a car in software, create a software model that simulates a car based on parameters (current speed, mass, inertia, slope, wind resistance, drag coefficients, rolling resistance, friction, engine power, etc.).
I would recommend to open the example finder an look at some examples. have a look at the "tank simulation.vi", and substitute tank level with speed, or look at "vibration analysis.vi". See how the rotation speed decreases slowly if the velocity is set to zero.
Attached is a simplified version, hopefully it can give you some ideas. If this is for school, you need to make sure that you fully understand the reason for every little detail in the program and can explain it to you teacher if needed. Try to expand the functionality by adding a brake pedal, for example.

When "Enter" is pressed, all buttons loose highlight

I have a simple menu with two buttons. Each button is set for the Shape of "SimpleButton". There is a normal, select, and press color state for each button. Each button has it's own asset. When a button is "pressed", ie Enter is hit on the remote, the button goes into press state for a moment, but then both buttons revert to normal state before my track starts. This does not show up when I preview the menu on my computer, only on a set top DVD player (I've tried 3 different ones). I cannot find any info related to this, help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I believe that a yes in correct for your question. The button goes from selected to active, and then for a split second before the track plays, ALL of the buttons go from normal to selected, basically flashing on the screen. Is this normal behavior, it looks very odd?
Also, this may play a role in this problem, all of the buttons react to the same normal state color setting, whether I've chosen highlight set 1, 2, or 3.
Is there a problem with me relying on the "SimpleButton" state for all of my buttons?
The final DVD plays just fine on my computer, just like the preview looks just fine within DVDSP. Put it on a set top and the highlights are bad. Thanks again for any input.

I am trying to reset the Security Questions as I have forgotten them, when I have logged into My Apple Id, and click on the button to reset the Security Questions, it states it is sending an email to the Primary Email address. I do not have the option to input a Rescue Email address, the only option I have is to input an Alternate Email address, which I have done so.
Also when I have tried to book an appointment throuth Online Support, I have not successful, I have rung a telephone number provided by the Mac Store in Perth, Australia and the reply provided is that we are closed. I was given to understand that Apple provided 24/7 Support to their users.

Because I had to have my hard drive wiped a while back, I have items on my iTouch that are not in my iTunes. Is there a way to copy everything on the iTouch into iTunes, if necessary, before I load the new software?

It is possible to transfer purchases from your iPod back into iTunes before updating the OS. If you had any CDs from your personal collection, these you have to put back into iTunes manually. Hope this helps you & good luck!

G4 power mac PCI, cuda / pmu button (s),  what is the button next to the cuda / pmu button for ??

In this photo from Apple on resetting the "cuda" or "pmu", there is the proper button circled for the reset. My question maybe silly, but WHAT is the button just to the right of it for ??   ..... It must be important enough to HAVE a BUTTON ?? ..... shown in this photo.

I have done the cuda reset with some success, still not working correctly though, machine only responds to power button on the front, not to the k/b button, (it did before) even used another k/b, both known to be good. Since this problem started, cuda reset has been done a few times, with some time intervals between them, battery tested, new battery, etc., etc.
On my screen here, near the top, is a column titled, "more like this", in it is a "green checked" answer that reads; After resetting cuda / pmu, doesn't power up, 400mhz imac (<not my machine, I know) what next" answered by "Spudnuty", IN his reply's he mentions a list called "Symptoms / Cures Tables", related to pmu / cuda problems as I read it. Yet I have not found any such list by doing searches varying how I word it.
Would You know of this list ?, or if it is still available ? ..... I had no luck looking for it, ..... wayne146 ....

The buttons in main the vi get locked after opening a vi reference in a subpanel and using buttons within the subpanel.

I am trying to open a reference to a vi in the subpanel of the main vi. However after the vi opens in the subpanel and after pressing a few buttons in the subpanel the buttons in the main vi get locked, i.e. I can't even close the main vi or control anything else. Is there any way how I can avoid this happening?

This is most likely happening because in either the top or sub panel,
there is an event structure that is queuing events, and is set to lock
the panel until the events are handled, and because of the logic in the
diagram, the events aren't being pulled from the queue.
So, you have a deadlock. You are waiting
on the panel. The panel is
waiting on the diagram. And the diagram is waiting on something else.
So, if there are indeed event structures involved, determine where in
the diagram things are delaying. Also, if you do not need the panel to
lock until the event is handled, you can change the setting in the
events dialog on the structure. But the events will still be queued
until the diagram starts executing.

We just did the iPhone update ios 6. The screen is frozen with the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB cale across the screen. none of the buttons respond.The phone does not recognize the apple USB when connected. We tried holding all the buttons down at the same time and also removed the SIM card and reinserted.

If it's not being recognized while it's in recovery mode in your itunes, try this
plug the phone into the usb attached to the computer
hold down the home and sleep/wake button on top simultaneously until the phone's screen goes black
When the screen goes black, release your finger from the sleep/week button on top but continue holding the home button until you see a dialog on the itunes screen on your computer that says 'itunes has detected a device in recovery mode'
then say 'ok,' select 'restore,' and say 'restore and update'

How do I enable the button to use the tree list in excel? (Enable the list type: Tree enabled in Office 2013 - VSTF 2013)

Hi, I was looking to see if anyone knows how I can troubleshoot my connection problem with TFS view in excel. I'm trying to produce a tree view in Office 2013 as described in the following KB -

I have followed the instructions on the KB all the way up to : 'Add backlog items and tasks and their parent-child links using a tree list' and at this point I can't seem to get it to work as the button is greyed out.
Note that I have completed steps 1-6 for the previous procedure... all 6 steps work just fine. However on step 2 of the second procedure - the instructions state I should be able to 'Add Tree Level' - However the button is greyed out.
Anyone know what I need to do to enable the button to use the tree list in excel?

I believe your issue is that you have opened a Flat query and are trying to add tree levels. A flat query is just that and you cannot change the query type from Excel.
The second process is managing a backlog (which is a tree). TFS web access has a link on the backlog view to create a query. That query will be a "tree of work items" query that returns the items in the backlog including their parent-child relationships.
This type of query supports the Add Tree Level and Add Child functionality as does a new Input List (not bound to an existing query).

Why are the buttons not visible at program start?

Can anybody tell me why the buttons are invisible at Program start? They are only then visible, if the client are is invalidated, in other words, if i resize/minimize the window etc.

To use the hotspot for any of those devices, I believe you have to switch to a postpaid account and plan. You can see the pricing for the available postpaid plans under the "Shop" area of the website.
