Have you closed the tabs ? Re-opening Safari will open it with the same tabs that were open on it the last time that you used it.
You can clear Safari's history via Settings > Safari > Clear History (and possibly Clear Cookies And Data), and then close Safari via the iPad's taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
When you re-open it there shouldn't be any open tabs.

I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

Thank you for your reply, i have tried what you suggest, and it did not work, the i DVD opening title changed but not the embedded movie.
Perhaps it is a setting in Final Cut Express?
After capturing my footage, i open a new project then i convert all clips to anamorphic, to give me the letterbox effect, i have tried now with and without anamorphic.
In my canvas screen, the footage does not fill the square, even if i have not selected anamorphic, and fall well within the TV safe areas, but the only way to ill the canvas up is to crop it bigger, but still when i export it does not give me the full screen view.
Any ideas?

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you can connect the device with Bluetooth and make and receive calls but they dont hear you. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

Do you already have the Kindle app downloaded to an iPhone or another iPad? Do you have "Automatic Downloads" turned on under Settings>iTunes & App Store for Apps on your iPad?
You might want to try touching and holding the Kindle App option in your Purchased list, and when it highlights, let go, and it will go to a a detail page for the app with another "Open" option on it. See if it will open from there.
If you do have Automatic Downloads turned on on the iPad, turn it off, and then go back to purchased to see if the Kindle is still showing as "Open".

I am sorry, my english isn't very good.
Next try :) I send a iMessage from my ipad (wifi only) to a friend and he answers but i don't receive the answer on the ipad but on the iphone instead. Both devices using the same Apple ID (Settings>Messages>Receive At, same Adress on both devices). I tought iMessages are always received on bothe devices, like the advertisment says i should be able to start a iMessage conversation on ipad and finish it on iphone because both devices receive my iMessages... Thats not like it is on my devices, most times iMessages are only received from the iphone.

I get the same error on some video content (specifically from the iTunes Library on my Mac). Netflix is fine. Movie previews are fine. I didn't rent/buy anything since this issue came up. I reset the AppleTV (20 minutes of re-entering everything). Am sick of going back and forth with what has turned out to be worthless customer support. Have sent them so much info and pictures, no help. All they do is send me links for instructions on how to redeem the codes. I know how to redeem, I have redeemed at least 50 codes. To them I am obviously an idiot though. If the book isn't on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy it from the iPad by connecting the iPad to your computer and in iTunes doing File > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to the iPhone (connect the iPhone to your computer, select it on the left-hand side of iTunes, and use the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync that book). Or you can re-download it directly on the iPhone : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
Another option, if you always want ibooks to download on both devices, is to turn 'automatic downloads' for books 'on' on both : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT453
