In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".

I have Iphoto '09, version 8.1.2 (424). I am having an identical problem. All my pictures are imported into Iphoto when I downloaded them from my camera. Until recently, I thought that the pictures were actually saved in the library. Since I need to crop my pictures for the web, and Iphoto doesn't do that, I purchased Photoshop Elements to do that. To my surprise, when I try to get a picture from Iphoto to Photoshop, it can't be done. That was when I realized, after wasting a lot of time, that the photos are not in the Iphoto library.
I started naming the pictures on Iphoto so I had a recognizable file name to open on Photoshop. Couldn't find it. I looked in the Backup folder and the Transfer software folder (I have a Nikon camera), and the names I entered in the Iphoto display, could not be found.
When I am trying to upload a photo to the web, I get the Finder folder showing with an active folder called "Photos" under "Media", which only displays Iphoto and PhotoBooth. This is a folder name that I cannot find in my HD anywhere when I look for it. If I edit a picture with Photoshop, I am not going to save it back to Iphoto (not sure whether it will work properly). How do I get my folder of edited photos to show when I want to upload a picture to the web?
Where (the name of the folder) do I find the pictures I see displayed on the Iphoto library, including any name changes, keywords added, and so on?

Hi cris2121, assuming you're using a mouse from apple, go to >System Preferences<
it's here where one can configure a mouse device.
Additionally you can also configure Scrubbing in Logic: "When in scrub mode, you can slowly move the playhead in the Tracks Window and the Audio (and optional MIDI) will be played back. The playback speed depends on how fast you move the Playhead in either direction."

Did you choose the right router to connect to in settings, wifi? Is there a password you need to enter (or did you already try)? Just because there's a signal doesn't mean it's connected to the router. I'm not sure what you mean by "service".

When a website takes too long to load I push reload/refresh, but when I pushed it, it ruieds the site making all the pictures disappear and have all the words to pushed to the left and I can't do anything on the site, is there some way to undo this?

The times this happened was on facebook: there is no pictures, only words, but the words are all smashed to the left. The other time was on grooveshark. When I refreshed/reloaded everything disappeared and now when I go to that website it shows no music just about 3 words pushed to the left.

The latest in a string of issues I've had with Mountain Lion, and even more with Lion. This is the latest and most frustrating.
Eveytime I send an email from iphone or ipad, mail on my macbook pro crashes. This happens everytime!
Also, Safari is unusable as keeps crashing and hardly ever loads properly so moved to Chrome which works perfectly.

I was just going to let the songs download, but shortly into it I got a message saying I had used 50% of data plan for MONTH, so I panicked and was just pausing each song as it started downloading. There's several hundered songs. Then I got a message saying I had used 75% data! I turned on my airplane mode to stop everything. Syncing shouldn't trouch you photos unless you have photos in a Photo Library album. These would be photos that were synced to your phone from your computer. If you do have any, you'll need to use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them to your computer prior to syncing.
If you prefer to backup your camera roll photos prior to syncing, open iTunes and go to Preferences>Devices and check "Prevent...from syncing automatically". Then connect your phone to your computer and import them as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
Then, to minimize data loss, follow the steps in this user tip: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141. To follow the steps, first open iTunes and go to View>Show Sidebar. Also, Transfer Purchases is now located in File>Devices.

First, get an app called MPEG Streamclip, which is free. You can find it by googling MPEG Streamclip Squared 5.
Open MPEG Streamclip.
In iMovie, select the clip you need. Then, right-click/Reveal in Finder.
Drag this clip into MPEG Streamclip
In MPEG Streamclip, move the playhead to the frame you want.
In MPEG Streamclip, click FILE/EXPORT FRAME.
Choose JPEG, TIFF, or PNG and give it a name.

I downloaded a ringtone last night to my iPhone. Everything went smoothly but find that the ringtone is way too low for me to hear when it rings... is there any way to adjust this before I download it? Let me just say that otherwise the volume on my iPhone is perfect - I have never had a problem with this just with this ringtone in particular. I have try to go to the info of this particular ringtone and i can see a volume adjustment under the heading Options but it is gray - anyway to make it active? Any info will be appreciated. thanks.

Ditto, the ringtone I created is unusable, as it is too quiet. There does not seem to be an option to increase the volume. Even if I set the ringer volume all the way up I can bearly hear it. Admittedly it is a relatively quiet segment of the track I used, but surely the ringtone should auto adjust its volume?
The preview on my MacBook sounded great, on the iphone with it sat in the dock, I barely even noticed it was playing.
