When I download something, the download box never has anything in it after downloading, so I cant open the item up from the download box, I have to go and find it where I downloaded it
I have firefox on my work and home computers - at the work on, I have a list of documents listed in my downloads box which I can access directly - great - on my home computer it shows while downloading, however as soon as it has finished downloading the box goes empty, I then have to minimise everything and find the downloaded item.

the iPad is totally new to me. I can't seem to do anything with my Apple ID. As the title says, I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error. It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. Cancel or Retry. i am having problems opening iTunes! ever since I updated to 10.5.3ver, I cannot open the application. I have down loaded songs and tv shows on my i phone 4s but i can remove them from my phone. I have transfered purchases and cun ticked sync music and tv shows but still i have the downloaded contenet on my phone. Please help

When I start the program I instantly see this message: "Adobe Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache, please try purging the central cache in cache preferences to correct the situation". I have tried this and it only results in a stalled/locked program. I have tried restarting my machine multiple times and tried reconfiguring how the cache is managed. Do you have anyone who could walk me through each step to correct this problem which just started two days ago. I have owned this program for at least a year now...

I upgraded my iphone to os 7 two days ago. However, now it cant accept cookies at all. I have set field 'block cookies' to never or from third parties. I have cleared history and cookies, then reboot my iphone. I have tries to force close all applications. Still, cant accept cookies. Please help...
Make sure you have the latest iTunes version installed and hopefully you have the most recent backup of your iPhone. Do a DFU restore. While it's plugged in to your computer, press and hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons together until the screen is off. When the screen's off, release only the Sleep/Wake button and keep holding down the Home button. Wait until you see in iTunes on your computer to show that it detected it in recovery mode. When it does, proceed with the restore. It will be restored and updated to the latest iOS 7.0.2. If you have a backup, restore from that backup once iOS 7.0.2 is successfully installed on your iPhone.
If your iPhone still won't activate, I agree with gail, you will have to get in touch with that developer. -

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

No, "My Number" was not listed in my Phone menu, I had to manually type it it. Is there a way for that number to automatically be listed in that "My Number" spot? Would that maybe have something to do with my phone number not being listed as an option in the "Send and Receive" spot under messaging???

I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this. -
Problems converting PDF to MS Word document. I successfully converted 4 files and now subsequent files generate a "conversion failure" error when attempting to convert the file. I have a large manuscript and I separated each chapter to assist with the conversion; like I said, first 4 parts no problem, then conversion failure. I attempted to convert the entire document and same result. I specifically purchased the export to Word feature. Please assist. I initially had to export the Word Perfect document into PDF and attempting to go from PDF to MS Word.

I'm sorry to hear your conversion process has stalled. It sounds as though the problem isn't specific to one file, as you've been unable to convert anything since the first four chapters converted successfully.
So, let's try this:
If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in. If you're using Reader, please choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version installed.

Why are some jpg images scrambled when they appear in my screen saver? The same images look fine in Preview and Finder. Some images appear scrambled in the screen saver 'preview' window and the actual screen saver. Other jpg images look fine.
The desktop image is fine, taken from the exact same pool of jpg photos. However, as soon as the slide show screen saver comes on, the images are scrambled. What is it about the apple screen saver algorithm that scrambles the pics?
