When I download something with Firefox, it show the progress but when it's finished, the file that i downloaded dissapears.
While downloading something with Firefox, i can see the file in the downloads folder while it's downloading but as when it's complete, the file dissapears.
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

Updated to iOS 5 and tried sending a message with a phot to an iPhone that has not been updated. My message shows as sent, but neither the text or photo are received. Text alone works fine.
This is being caused by using the same Apple ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On all but one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or
On all of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". -

When you update a previously purchased app you will always be asked for the password for the Apple ID you used to purchase it originally. This can't be changed; once an app is purchased all future updates will have to be authenticated with the password for the original ID. Also, Apple will not merge Apple IDs.
The Apple ID you have in Settings>Store on your phone is for future purchase, not updating past purchases purchased under a different ID. -

I changed my ID Apple with another email, i received the confirmation, i changed my password and also received the confirmation but when i try to download something on my iPhone it still shows me my old email and nothing works ! ahhhhh what and how do i solve this ?
On your iPhone go to Settings > Store.
Select the Apple ID at the bottom.
Select Sign Out at the menu selection provided.
Follow this by signing in with your new Apple ID/iTunes store account.
All apps - all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account that was used to download the apps. In order to install an app update for the apps downloaded with your previous Apple ID/iTunes account, you will need to use that account and password. -

I have exactly the same settings in Options (in both computers)
for history, these 2 add-ons and all other stuff in Options. The only difference is that on 1 pc sessions can be saved and closed tabs can be reopened, on other main pc they stopped to work. + no any other add-on that does similar things works on this pc.
It is also interesting that I can reopen closed visited sites from History Panel, but not by pressing the Button. For now I only manually bookmark links to a temporary folder.
Recently (some 2 month ago) I pressed x and Firefox closed all tabs without saving them without displaying save & quit pop up.
so I changed 4 settings in about.config
browser.tabs.warn on close true
browser.warn on quit true
browser.warn on restart true
browser.show.quit warning true
but the problem with sessions appeared only 1 week ago.
So I guess the problem is not with the History settings or other settings. Seems that something responsible for button or for storing info about tabs/sessions got corrupted. :( -
I downloaded an album and it shows up on all my devices but on my iPhone 5 there is the cloud icon on most of the songs but when I tap it nothing happens and I can't play the song. All the songs play on my iPad and MacBook. It seems like my iPhone will not let me download the rest of the songs, and I have 3.5 GB of remaining space. Help!

"The text you provide becomes the email address ([email protected]). An alias must contain between 3 and 20 characters."
This certainly implies that the alias is not required to be your registered name, and only becomes the prefix for a new @me.com address. There might be something going on with the servers right now as they are probably very focused on getting ready for the iPhone 5 pre-order release, which is supposed to happen any minute now. You might have better luck if you waited a while. -

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance

I was having issues with firefox so I upgraded to firefox 4. I am connected to the internet but when I open firefox or even internet explorer it says Unable to connect problem loading page. Nothing will pull up!!!
I don't know if you are still having the issue but if you are have you contacted your ISP? It sounds to me like it's more of a connectivity issue than a browser problem. I've dealt with similar things several times and in both cases it was something with the modem or an ISP setting.
I'm also wondering if it could be a Wi-Fi issue. Can you log in to your router? (It varies by brand but you would go to a site such as http://192.168.10.1. That is for Trendnet. The information for yours should be in the documentation that came with it.)
You should be able to get the router log in page to come up even if you can't connect to any websites. (Provided the network is set up correctly.)
I also would double check your connection settings (if you're connecting over Wi-Fi) or your ethernet connection. (If you're connected directly to the modem and router.)

You are having this problem because you are trying to use an existing Apple ID. There is a process, that if you follow and create a new Apple ID with an iTunes/Mac App Store account, you can create the account without a bank card.

Yes. You can set the payment method to "None" once you log into iTunes on your PC/Mac. I have it set up this way.

You can contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department at no charge using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find an "Email Us" button) and explain your problem to them.

I downloaded apps with one appleid on my iphone. When my account was disabled I set up a new appleid & account. Now I cannot update apps on my iphone that were downloaded with original appleid when I login with my new apple id. What do I need to do?

Since the applications were purchased on the older account, you will need to log into that account to update them. The newer account will not recognize the purchases because they are not a part of the purchase history for the specific account. -
