When I download the updated version of flashplayer to my new updated firefox, flashplayer will say it has successfully installed, but it still does not work?
When I go back to look at something (movie, song, etc.), Firefox again tells me that I need to update the latest flashplayer in which I have already done. What could be wrong?I do not know if this is on my end or between both firefox and flashplayer. I have done everything possible that I know how and I have followed the directions carefully. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
There are two different versions of Flash for Windows, the '''''ActiveX''''' version for IE and the '''Plugin''' version used by Firefox and most other browsers.
1.Download the Flash Plugin version setup file from here: <br />

2. Close Firefox using File > Exit <br />

Try perform below steps.
Open task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys. Click on more details if the option available.
Then end all Adobe related processes, including Creative Cloud and Coresync ( if running )
Then hold windows key on your keyboard and Press R key.
It will open Run window
In Run window, type Appdata and click on Ok
Open Local > Adobe folders
Delete AAMUpdater and OOBE folders
Then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Delete Adobe Application Manager and OOBE folders
Go back to Program Files (x86) and Open Adobe folder
Try deleting Adobe Creative Cloud folder, if it is not allowing rename it to Adobe Creative Cloudold
Download and install Creative Cloud App from below link

I just tested it (on 10.6.8) and it worked perfectly well, so it may be something on your computer. You could try creating a new user account on your Mac and using that to try downloading. You can then install on that account and it will be available on your normal one.

Updated version installed and enabled, still does not work.
I have installed the latest version of Adobe Flashplayer for internet explorer 11, does not work, tried unistalling using unistall tool then reinstalling, still does not work, disabled All security software and Firewall, tried reinstalling, still does not work, made sure scripting was allowed, reinstalled, still does not work, Tried installing active X version, still does not work. Manually went into program files, deleted Abobe Flash program, reinstalled still does not work. Used cleaning and registry repair tools, still does not work, unistalled then used cleaning registry tools, reinstalled, still does not work, tried older versions of Adobe Flashplayer, still does not work. Message was edited by: TiggerdadThis is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in. -

I don't know what other solutions you've tried but on mine it was like a "Ghost in the Machine" (moving around and clicking on things on its own) and all I did to fix it was to lightly dampen a cotton ball with window cleaner (evaporates) and clean firmly around the inside edge of the pad and to also click it firmly quickly and many times to clean out ANY kind of dust or debris that has fallen into the cracks. worked GREAT for me , so far!!???

We used to use Firefox..but for whatever reason it stopped opening. We uninstalled it and we found that the old version of Firefox would open but it would straight away update to the new version and then the problems would begin again and it would not open.

Please help. I am trying to sync my two libraries but my ipad is not showing up on my laptop. I cant even get the share menu to pop up.
Your library should reside on your computer, the iPad is simply a mirroring what you sync to it from iTunes. If you have anything on the iPad the is different then you may risk losing it.
Should you need to transfer anything so you can sync to iTunes (which you can do wired or wirlessly) there are 3rd party programs

My iPhone seems to be stuck in headphone mode. I already tried plugging and unplugging my headphones, but it still is stuck in headphone mode. What can I try next?
I've read other methods but they didn't work for me.
You can try cleaning the jack with a q tip, blowing into the jack and then pulling in and out the headphones (thi worked for my friend).

Ive also heard although it isn't the best, using an air compressor to clean out any gunk in the jack that can help aswell.
I'm utterly frusturated at this point. I'm just going to go to the Apple Store and see what they have to say. If of these at home remedies don't work i suggest you do to and brace yourself for repair costs.

That you are getting the BONG is a good sign, it's unlikely to be hardware if you are able to hear that.
Start by running SW update. It's not that there is a specific fix, but when updating it may rewrite some system files which may get this going again purely as a side affect. Worth a go, and should not harm the system.
Try reset the PRAM - Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
Hopefully one of these quick fixes works, otherwise we'll need to try isolate the issue next - so if still having a problem, I'd try create a new user and login as that user to see if the issue persists (which will tell us if it's system wide or user specific) -

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound. Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. MickeDo you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically.<br />
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.<br />
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.

When I opened this pop-up to view the settings (File > Page Setup > "Format & Options": Scale ), the Scale value was 40%. Changing it to 100% corrected the issue I observed.
To my knowledge, I have not been inside this pop-up window before to set the Scale option. Could this value be affected by other actions within Firefox? I noticed this while using v12 which was installed 24Apr2012.I know it worked correctly since that installation, so why did the Scale value change?
UPDATE: I just realized that the Scale option in print preview sets the Scale value in the settings. NOTE TO ALL: This is a sticky setting, not just a setting for a specific output request.
