When I downloaded IOS 5, I inadvertantly downloaded thousands of songs (mostly not from Itunes). Now I don't have room to download my magazines. I don't use my IPad for music, so I want to delete it, but I on't want to lose my ITunes account. Any ideas?

Your iTunes account is totally separate from your iPad. If you delete music from the iPad it will still be in your iTunes library on your computer. I don't keep much, if any, music at all on my iPad because I just don't need it. I still listen to that music on my iPhone, my iPod classic, and my iMac.

Everything worked fine for the last two years but now every time that I play a tune from my itunes the file duplicates itself into my 'MyDocuments' folder. If I delete this the song is erased from itunes totally. Ideas??
You are of course deleting the tunes from within the iTunes interface.
The settings that I am referring to are your device settings for the iPad. It should show in the left column of iTunes when your iPad is plugged in.
Go through your playlists and make sure that the tunes(s) are removed from any playlist. You can prevent the sync as noted above then do a sync and the iPad should update with the content from you Mac.

I'm trying to use my iPad for music on my apple tv and my airplay compatible speaker. I want to use them at the same time and the music app on my iPad only allows me to listen to one at a time. I have to chose apple tv or speaker. Anyone know how to play both at the same time? Thanks!

the 4 digit pin is usually default to 0000 or 1111.
If pairing, it can also be anything you choose, providing that you enter the same 4 digits into both items to pair.

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

In the Videos App. That is where downloaded movies appear and that is where you play them - not in iTunes.

I would like to delete a number of podcasts from my iPhone. They do not show up in iTunes and when I pull the arrow on the phone it does not give me a delete option. I am using a Windows 7 PC. Recently I had to restore my computer, when I first reconnected my iPhone I thought it might sync it and wipe out everything on my iPhone, but it didn't do that. The only thing that seems messed up is the podcasts. I do have an app called Bookmark that I use to listen to books and podcasts. Thanks for any ideas.

This problem only surfaced a couple of months ago. Audiobook files which used to play fine suddenly startted to cut out after a few minutes (playing according to the countdown but silent).
I tried restoring, resetting, etc but nothing worked. THen I deleted some and redownloaded. BIG MISTAKE. iTunes tried to bill me for these again!! I have been in dispute for week about this and they have finally promised to refund this as it is a 'special' case, but there are still book that are cutting out!!!
This is frustrating and there seems to be no way of sorting it out. The files play perfrctly through iTUnes from my PC but each time a update, the same problem occurs.

What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice! -
I use my iPad for music when i teach my dance class. The default layout in the music program on iPad is: song title, artist and album. I need the name of the dance, so in iTunes, I right click on the song title, then choose "get Info". I then edit the info and under album title I write in the dance name. Then when i sync the iPad still has the same three columns, but the info i need displays under the album column. UNTIL i upgraded to ios7 and installed the latest iTunes. When I synced last night, after adding new music, the songs that were already in the playlist, stayed the same. ALL the new songs were placed in the playlist but none of the info that i edited synced. It shows it as i want it when i look at the playlist in iTunes, but it does not carry over after the sync.
I hope this makes sense and does anyone have any idea why?Amazing! I'm a dance instructor and am doing the exact same thing as you - and not seeing what I need on my iPad Air ... I own CS 5 Design Premium. Reading the FAQs, it seems I am eligible to upgrade to CS 6 but I can't find the upgrade to purchase and download. I can't upgrade to CC because $49 per month is too much for me -- I don't use this product for work. The $29 offer seems reasonable but $49 is way too much. I don't need the majority of the programs included in CC, but subscribing to just three of them will cost way more. Really not sure what to do here :-(
Thanks Ned. I did find this page, however it isn't an upgrade. I have been purchasing Adobe products for years so that I could just pay the upgrade price for current products. With the current system, I would be paying much more than I would for an upgrade. For example, I have been using my version of CS for at least three years. The upgrade cost me $750 so that comes out to around $21 per month. I guess I have no options as far as upgrading except for paying for the overpriced CC. Oh well, time to start looking for alternatives. It was just so convenient to have the same programs at home that I use at work.

You can't.
This allows for being able to redownload a purchased app without having to pay for it again in the event the app was deleted. -
When I download an attachment, it doesn't open in a new window. It goes to my finder, but I must click on an email attachment at least 3 times in order to find it there. Is there a way to change the preferences to simply open attachment in a new window?

Attach it to your computer, open iTunes, and deselect syncing contacts and calendars. Syncing your iPod again with the mac will delete the unneeded content from the iPod.

CS4 64 bit? only photoshop!
I just installed the master collection CS4 on my Vista 64bit. and I see that only photoshop runs on 64 bit! all other proggiz are in X86 DIR = 32bit I thought that After effects and Premiere Pro are also in 64 BIT! Am I wrong?!
