I had a similar problem, and i found that the photo was of very low resoluton. As a test I resized the image to a lrager resolution using photoshop CS4 and re saved it as JPG. I imported the new saved image and it seem to have fixed the problem.

Are you setting the sharpening at 100% zoom (1:1)? Only when zoomed in is the sharpening applied to the Develop display. Also, LR may not be redrawing the Library preview image file. To force the creation of a new preview, select loupe view (E) and zoom to 1:1 and then out to fit.

Mine does the exact same thing ! It is so annoying when i try to shut down. I'm not sure how to fix it but if anyone else does it would be so so so much help! I HOPE THERE IS A SOLUTION!

Macbook pro fades into a white screen - how can i fix this!?

basically for a while my macbook pro has simply froxen andfaded into a blank white scren slowly as though its becoming less pixlated. applications and that all still work in the background so its likely to be just a cscreen error? isit a battery problem or can be replaced? a software problem? or isit ohysical damage and should i look to repair the devie?

When I do a search, with MSN as my homepage, it pops up in a new window not a tab like it used to. MSN says it is Firefox related. How do I fix this? I have the option selected to open new windows in tabs instead and it still won't work.

I use Firefox 4.0.1 and have MSN set as my homepage. Recently, even with the option set to make windows open in tabs instead, if I do searches on the MSN page, the results pop up in a new window. That's strange. It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is changing your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal? Also have you tried uninstalling & re-installing flash? Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
