When I drag anything the copy ballon (+) blinks.....

Hi: I have a realy small but annoying problem. Every time i drag an drop anything holding alt key (copy) or holding alt+command (Alias), it should appear a little ballon with a + sign that i'm making a copy, or in the alias case, it should be an arrow. Well, in my case neither one nor another. It only blinks when im dragging... I don't know if I explain myself well but that's the problem... to resume, the ballon of copying and the arrow of alias, they don't appear when executing the action. I don't know why...

Well, it seems stuffix shell integration was freaking around my finder, so this affected on all graphical displays in my desktop. Got rid of stuffix and the problem's gone. Some say the dead dog, the rabies gone.

Opportunities that are assoicated to the same account cannot have the same name. You cannot make this unique for your whole instance. The only way that you could do this would be to create a webservice application that checks this before you save the record.
What about defaulting the name each time this could make the record unique?

Good morning leetrout1. Lets try resetting the printer. Here is how we can do that:
Make sure the product is on, and then disconnect the power cord from the product.
Disconnect the USB cable from the product, and then disconnect it from the computer.
Reconnect the USB cable to the computer, and then reconnect it securely to the product.
Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, and then reconnect it to the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the product.
Press the Power button ( ) to turn on the product.
Let me know if this solves the issue. If not please be sure to post back with some more information like what operating system you are using, what applications this occurs in, etc.

Select a contact or your own card, and then double-click the picture well.
Select a picture:
Drag an image to the picture well.
Click Camera to take a picture.
If you have pictures in iPhoto, click the Faces button to use a face from iPhoto.
If the contact is linked (it’s in multiple accounts, but displayed only once in Contacts) and has multiple account pictures, click Linked.
Click Edit to edit the picture.
To zoom in and out of the picture, drag the slider. Drag the picture to change which part of it is visible.
To rotate the picture, hold down the Option key while you click and drag the picture.
To apply special effects, click the Effects Gallery button and choose an effect.
Click Done.

Superimpose Edit::When I drag to the canvas the options do not pop up??

Used to do this all the time with FCP 4 & 5 but now since I started working in 6 the options for edits do not pop up when I drag from the viewer (title window) to the canvas. I am sure there is something I have not done.

Or, if I click on the text icon and then select bars and tone I cannot drag that anywhere that will accept it. I can drag it but the options on the canvas do not pop up and I cannot drag it to the time line.

But, I can drag what looks like an empty clip from the viewer to the canvas and timeline but it does not show up before or after a render.

To copy an arrangement section - verse, chorus etc - I click the verse or chorus I want to copy/move in the arrangement line. But when I open edit the copy/cut options are gray and won't let me do it. Same w/command 'C'

Drag & drop stops working when I drag outside the top-level window

I have implemented drag & drop in my application, using the pre-JDK 1.4 approach. It works fine until I drag outside the top-level window, then back in again. My drop target receives a dragExit, but doesn't get a dragEnter when I drag back in. It then gets frequent calls to dragOver - but the DropTargetDragEvent says there are no DataFlavors available.
Is this a known problem with d&d? Is there a known workaround?

I could really understand that it annoys you. I tried it on my machine and the "save as" dialog box is placed correctly. I couldn't pull the box out of the monitor because the menue bar keeps me under it.
Do you have the application frame activated? Try turning it off. "window > application frame"
The problem might be here: The behaviors of the menu bar and dock are adjustable. Go to the system prefs and try playing around with the Mission Control settings. At work I have menu bar and dock on both monitors. At home I set the prefs so that only the main screen has menu bar and dock.
I'm just guessing. Don't beat me if this doesn't help.

Getting error saying picture is "busy" when I drag to the desktop

how you trying to add the access app.
also check the ULS logs for more information...from technical details you will get a correlation id.
run the Merge-SPLogFile -correlation to get the complete trace of the error.
also make sure your account not display as system account:

When clicking on anything the file screen pops up

I have a MacBook Plus and everytime I click on anything, the file pull down comes up. Does anyone know how to fix this or what I'm even talking about? It's driving me crazy. I am running 10.5.7.

Your operating system version is obsolete, you need to contact a local PC/Mac tech and discuss your options with that machine to bring it up to OS X 10.6.8, perhaps install some more RAM and generally clean up the machine and make backups of your files.
In the process it should be fixed of your software issues, which MIGHT be malware caused.
Do not use that machine for sensitive information, banking or other things like that until it's software is fixed.
OS X 10.4/10.5 need to upgrade, 10.6.8 ok still

Conversion error on table maintanance when i drag down the contents

i have an issue...with table..i,e..i have table maintance generator...say for instance i have 50000records...when i try to drag down to see the contents...as soon as i drag down i get a error 'CONVERSION ERROR'.
What could be the problem/

My 2008 Macbook only charges when it's sleeping. When it's awake, the MagSafe adapter blinks green on and off. I've cleaned the connectors and the problem is still there.

This is a recent problem, only since I updated the last security update from apple has this been happening. No matter where I plug the laptop in (as in, no matter the power source), the magsafe adapter glows green like it's going to charge, that lasts roughly a second and my mac behaves as if it's going to charge (different status bar indicator and brightness jumps).. aaand then the green light shuts off completely, mac brightness & status indicators go back to normal. Then the light comes back on, then shuts off, rinse, repeat. When I put the mac to sleep or shut it down completely, then plug the magsafe in, it works and charges just fine. But then the second I wake the mac up, the orange charge light shuts off and it goes into the green light loop again. Weird issue, just putting it out there to see if anyone's had that happen before and can offer tips. I've tried resetting the SMC and removing the battery when it's shut down, btw. Halp!

When I select anything the mac "beachball' appears, sugesting a script hanging?

After updating my Mac OS on my Mac mini I've started to get the Mac 'beachball', suggesting a problem is occuring, browsing is slowed and sometimes hangs. I've just updated to Lion OS in the hope that the problem disappeared, but it didn't. My final resort was to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it, unfortunatly the problem is still there.
The problem occurs with Macs Safari browser, but not Googles Chrome browser. I suspected java or some other add on. Looking on the web this is a common problem on Safari, I was hoping it wasn't on Firefox. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What you see in iTunes is a database list which also contains unseen information as to which file iTunes should play on your computer when you click on a track. Usually those files are in folders inside your iTunes > Media folder. When iTunes asks you to find a file say yes and then guide it to the actual file you want it to play in your media folder. It should then asks if you want it to find others and will re-scan the series of folders to rebuild the links. If you cannot find the file on your computer then you will have to restore from a backup.

HT1026 When I do this a copy is created, and when I try to move the old file to trash I get a warning that this clip will no longer be visible in my project. How do I make the drag and drop move the clip and not just make a copy?

I have iPhoto '09. The problem occurs when I try to move a photo from iPhoto onto a document or anywhere. I click on the photo and try to drag it to the document. When I do this a message box pops up saying that the file cannot be opened because it is empty. This only happens with a small number of photos but I just don't understand the fact that I can see these photos (and print them but only directly from iPhoto) but I can't do anything with them since, for some reason, the computer is seeing the file as empty.
