When I drag the imported video files to the time-line it only recognizes audio - would anyone know why?
This happened 2 days ago. Before everything was working normal. Since yesterday each time I import a video and drag it to the time line, it only allows me the drag the audio portion of the file. Even those files which I uploaded several days earlier and
worked perfectly fine - now even those files are only showing audio when dragged to the timeline. I hope I didn't make my question too confusing.
I have adobe premier PRO CC 2014 and I bought it vie creative cloud.
Would anyone know why is this happening all of the sudden?

seannybroMany Thanks for the reply, Maybe l didn't word it correctly as l've been searching for days now for a solution,sorry, but l have just found out while watching tutorials on a education program that you can actual edit each frame in a video in Photoshop by importing the video into it. In these tutorials they said you have to download Quicktime 7.1 or later in order for this to work and then you can go through every frame of your video and change it, draw on it, do mainly anything you what, basically what you can do on a photo you can do with a video. It works with one of my AVI,files but not on any of my others or on any of my MOV. files. l just get a white screen the video is there in the AVI but l can't get MOV. to import. In AVI format it shows no pictures but it is there in the time/animation dilation and l was wondering does anyone know if l need to upload a new codec for it to work or have to switch or activate something for it to work on quicktime......but l have found others with the same problem but there all say upload a new codec but which??
any help would be really appreciated

(If your wondering how too try changing your workspace from ESSENTIALS to VIDEO the icon is in the right hand corner near the close down button in Photoshop and double click on the grey interface (a photo uploads) to get to upload your videos from files then you should be able to upload from there....Import in the file menu doesn't work...hope this helps you. If it works for you then l must be going wrong somewhere....enjoy:) -
Usually when I flip my iPad upside down. The screen flips upsidedown to become upsideright. It stopped doing that. Anyone know why ?
Is there a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If there is, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock/unlock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. The function that isn't on the side switch is set via the taskbar instead : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085
If there isn't a lock symbol then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

I have purchased an audio book from iTunes with my iMac.
Now I wanted to listen to it on my iPhone so I proceeded to transfer the purchase and looked for the book in the purchased section of the store in the iTunes on my iPhone but it did not show up.
Does anyone know why and how I can transfer the audio book purchased on my iPhone so I can listen while away from the desk?

Do you have the right boxes checked to sync the audio book to the iPod?

Note you have to check the boxes in Books pane for the iPod in iTunes to sync books in general and another box to sync Audio Books. -
I have an older iMac 5,1 and the disc drive no longer works. I was hoping that I could the Apple USB super drive as a replacement, but the info on the super drive page says compatible with iMac 2012 or later. Does anyone know why it would not work for me?
A reply to similar question (Q & As , in product page Apple Store) says:
"...dissable the internal reader hardware from devices setup. Then plug the external usb superdrive and that's it." Answered by Enrique T from Lima Oct 25 2013.
If you can locate an external Apple USB 'Air" superdrive for earlier model MacBook Air, that should work. The newer one for the Air is the same as for iMac, now.
You may be able to use other brands of external USB optical drive with your older intel-based iMac, as some of them function capably. A few should also be able to see system discs or other bootable utilities on DVD.

You do not have to have an Apple TV, but you should have an AirPlay capable speaker on your network.

As i said Premiere pro is crashing on me and I am having this error message: [../../../../MediaFoundation/API/Inc/MFBinaryData.h-62]
It happens when I try to import a file full of videos in premiere pro.. certain files import others do not. The ones that do not will if you import each video individually.
In my case that would take me a week to do. Need a solution.
Im running on a Mac with Premiere Pro CC updated. All malware is erased from computer. Why is it doing this? Premiere pro has been crashing a lot lately on me. Super frustrating!
Somewhere i heard I should verify disk permission and repair them..? I did that and its still a problem.

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MBCorrection: It was not the footages problem. Only after a matter of time, I was able to import the footage like normal. Seemed to be a momentary problem. Odd and rather frustrating knowing that such problems can just arise at any point in time with relatively no explanation. Oh well!

How to import video file into the stage?
I did follow the instructions on Adobe help site, but when I'm trying the import menu and brows to the file (xxxx.mp4) location I find it "gray" (dimmed). What's wrong?
What Captivate version are you using? How exactly are you trying to insert the video? I know you said "I did follow the instructions on Adobe help site but when I'm trying the import menu." I'm a bit confused because you don't add video via the Import menu. At least, you don't do it this way if you have a generic video you want to include. If that's what you need, try clicking the Video menu and choosing Insert Video.
I'm wondering if you are trying the "CPVC" slide thing. And that's for importing a "CaPtivate Videeo Capture" that you used Captivate to create.

IMovie Crashes When I Try To Import Video Files
When I try to import a video from the desktop to iMovie, it doesn't work. It starts importing but the time remaining is nothing and the progress bar does not fill up at all. Someone please help!

iMovie is very picky in what Video-Codecs it can work with.
What Codec's Your movies in ?
.mov, .wmv, .mp4 etc are NO CODEC's - but just sort of Container's. Open the video file with QuickTime-player then open Inspector [cmd+I] and read
Video format (Codec) : nnnnnnnnnn
frame rate : yyyyyyyyyy

ITunes locks up when I drag-and-drop video file into library
I have some videos that I have on my computer that I want to add to my library but when I drag and drop them into my library iTunes freezes. I never had any problems with this before. The format is right. I used a program to convert them and other videos worked but this one.
What version of iMovie?
What Device?
Have tried to restart, soft reset your device?
What is the video audio source?

I can't really answer you first question. What has happened is: when I moved an mpg file from my assets to the movie (I have added already a mpg file in the first part of the movie) a message box appears telling me the file is being "indexed" and then this Indexing progress appears in lower right of screen and it processes up to 99% and then freezes. The file appears in the time line, but the frame appears that says "media pending" and then nothing happens. I can go into the Widows media player and the mpg file plays okay, with audio. That is best I can tell you.
Though I did not say this earlier, when I try to open this mpg file from the Organizer, Premiere does not open.
My operating system is Windows 7 on a Dell computer with lots of ram and plenty of space on my hard drive.
Properties of movie file
These properties are the same as a file I already inserted in the timeline.

Error Message when trying to watch shared video files thru the 'Video' app, via iTunes
Since updating my iPad 2 to the new operating system, I can no longer watch shared videos from iTunes. I am getting the error "you do not have permission to access the requested resource.". I have restarted the ipad, turned home sharing off and on, reset the network... any ideas on how to get past this issue?
Unfortunately, I don't think any of those solutions will work. The video won't play on my computer either, but I think that's because I don't have Quicken, or whatever is needed to watch videos from iTunes. Maybe that's what I need to do? Download the appropriate software to play the video on my computer?
