When I drop a clip on V2, why does the clip below on V1 jump to the right?
That's it! When I drop a clip on V2 the clip immediately below it jumps to the right leaving a gap in the timeline.
It's easy enough to drag it back - but what am I doing wrong in the first place?

Not really, I managed to install LiveType so that it worked, last Sunday!
I had been playing (struggling) around with LT and was dropping a "hyper-space" background I had just created into the TimeLine.
It was then that I noticed the baffling phenomenon and remembered it had happened on previous occasions.
So I am just messing about. Perhaps my next film will be a "Starwars Epic" or a rip-off of "I'm a Ladeee" from "Little Britain"...........
.......It could even be a combination of the two......Now there's a thought - Darth Vader in drag!

If you shutdown your computer you should get a dialog asking if you want applications to resume on the next startup. Simply uncheck the box to prevent that from occurring. When I am editing, I have noticed that sometimes my images and clips have a drastically higher quality in the viewer than the canvas/timeline, what is causing this, and how do I edit and export my films with the highest quality possible?

The answer is very simple; the Viewer shows the media at its native resolution while the Canvas shows the media at the Sequence resolution. I'd bet that in your case, the original media is of higher resolution that the Sequence in the Timeline.

assuming you mean send a photo by email.
a photo can be quite large and contain a lot of data. depending on your connection it can sometimes take a while to send. As long as a red exclamation doesn't appear it will send. the outbox indicates mail going out, hence outbox. -
In Mail, when using "reply all" why does Mail automatically include my email address in the cc line? Whey would I want to include my email address in an email I am sending.? Anybody have any idea how to stop Mail from including my email address in the cc line when using "reply all"?
Automatically cc myself is not checked. I did find out that if you have multiple email address that all of them need to be associated with "My Contact" tab. Thanks

Can anybody say why In the layer menu, the background color is white when opening a layer mask, and why does it automatically turns black by simply opening the layer mask properties menu? The vector mask is white anyway.

Probably because you have not signed in in the Settings app. The iTunes and App Store keeps track of apps that need updating and auto updates apps for you. You need to be sign in for this to work.

The microprocessor goes into a low-power mode
Video output is turned off, and a connected display may turn off or enter its own idle state
Apple-supplied hard disks spin down; third-party hard disks may spin down
On portable Macs:
The Ethernet port turns off, if applicable (see note below)
Expansion card slots turn off
The built-in modem, if present, turns off (see note below)
An AirPort card, if present, turns off (see note below)
The USB ports only responds to the power key on an external keyboard (see below)
The optical media drive, if present, spins down
Audio input and output turns off
Keyboard illumination, if a feature of your portable computer, turns off
But see the note about selecting, "Wake For Network Access" in Energy Saver preferences.
Note: Portable computers have no network connectivity when in sleep mode, but can wake if the Energy Saver option "Wake for network access" is enabled. This happens randomly. I have an iMac OSX 10.6.8. I recently had the hard drive cleaned, but Apple Mail seemed to be running fine when I set it up again. Could this be a virus? Why does f12(preview in browser mode) not render the page correctly? Instead when i go to the main or original file, it renders properly? It is drriving me nuts! HAHA! just that one of it is a f12 (preview in browser) while the other one is going to the directory and clicking the html page by itself.
F12 is simply a hot key that launches your browser.
The only thing I can think of to explain this is that you have a local site folder someplace in addition to a testing server site.
When you hit preview, your testing server on the localhost/ is being called up in the browser.
When you open the HTML page directly, you're seeing the local site file with unparsed data.
Try disabling your Testing Server in Sites > Manage sites > Edit...

Why does my aol mail not sync properly with the Droid Razr? Never had the problem with blackberry but now I deal with a great deal of spam & duplicating tasks
This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs? -
