When I enter 2000 it formats it as a date (1/1/2000 00.00.00)
Hello,
I'm new to Numbers. I'm using the latest version.
But the problem is, when I enter 2000 which I would like to be a number, but it says in the lower left corner that it's: 1/1/2000 00.00.00. When I click in the format window, the dataformat is set to automatic. Have tried to change the dataformat to 'numbers', but it seems it changes it back to automatic, and I'm stuck again with the(1/1/2000 00.00.00.

I would call that behavior a bug if you were pre-formatted as Automatic and a simple numeric entry turns into a Date value. It would be a failure of the compiler to properly detect the entry type.

If you use Windows program to partition the Hard Drive, the Apple partition gets destroyed.
Windows does not understand it is a guest on your Mac, and throws garabge wherever it pleases. -

What are you trying to use as your payment method, credit card or debit card ? If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method in all countries - from this page :

For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. half_quarters generates the start dates of every half of a quarter, starting with the begin of the first quarter that contains the sample date.
The next step is to order the dates and to select only those after the sample date.
The last part formats the output and orders the data.

how do I view the photos ? I backed up with iPhoto closed as recommended but when I enter the Time Machine and click on iPhoto library it calculates there is 11gb in there so files must be present but when i click on open with iPhoto nothing happens ? any help welcome please !!??
The external hard drive must connect to your Mac using a USB or FireWire connection.
Note that the hard drive must be formatted in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) to work correctly with the iPhoto Library and be backed up to the Time Capsule and with the backups of your Mac.

You're still using Safari for Windows?!? They stopped updating that in 2012!
You can change the region settings on an iPhone in Settings>Genera>Language and Region. However, you may still want to talk to the developers of the website and have them fix the formatting on their end.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :

Hi. I am using a time capsule for few PC s. I have made 5 different account to access time capsule. but in windows when I enter account name and password for one account, i cannot access other accounts, because windows saves username. how can i prevent this from happenning. I really need to access all my accounts and dont want it to save automaticlly.
Why have 5 accounts if you need to access all of them.. just have one account?
Sorry I cannot follow why you would even use the PC to control the Time Capsule. Apple have not kept the Windows version of the utility up to date.. so they keep making it harder and harder to run windows with apple routers. -
When sending email from the Mail App or through other Apps on my iPad, my default From: address will change when I enter a To: address. This sometimes leads me to send the email from the wrong outgoing email account. It is frustrating and poor design, especially since I had already checked the From: address.
iPad 4 running iOS 8.1.33rd party email addresses have to be deleted on every synmced mac product, although I have 1and1.co.uk and my imac updatetes the mails in that account from mac mail.
Yahoo etc is a 2 step deleting process but good to get your emails pushed when on the go.

Spoke with Express lane, and issue was escalated. Kudos to the support guys that handled this one (Brian and Yi). Went through everything in detail and took all the crash dumps off the iphones and ipads to send to engineering.
After backing up the contacts, the recommendation was to delete all contacts in iCloud. Doing that caused my iCloud to crash (in the browser), so more crash dumps were sent to apple.
Eventually got all contacts deleted, then did a resync. Looks like IOS devices are coming back to life and syncing again.
Also, Outlook iCloud connector has just been updated to ver 1.0.1 so i installed that on their recommendation.
BOTTOM LINE workaround:
1. Backup contacts
2. Delete contacts in iCloud
3. Delete accounts on IOS devices
4. Recreate accounts on IOS devices.
Hoping a real root cause can be found and real fix implemented. This has caused me to doubt the stability of iCloud, so i will procees with caution. -
I tried downloading a free app and it asked for my billing information and when I entered it, it said that there was a billing problem with a previous purchase and I have to update it. I keep updating it and it wont let me verify it and I cant get any apps even if they are free, and I just Deleted some apps to make room for my new upate!
The message says: "The payment method has been denied, try another method"

I just hooked up my Apple tv and im having problems already..When i enter my ID and Password for itunes it says that it is not valid,yet I double checked and its correct.
