When I click the "print" button a simplified set of directions should pop up for me to print.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I'm sorry, but your sister, unless she had already turned on the "Find my iPhone" feature and the person who took the phone has not disabled it, is out of luck. She should report the theft to local police authorities, including the serial number of her iPhone. While her experience is unfortunate, there are good reasons why Apple cannot do anything else about it.
I hope she gets her phone back.

Happens on any website.eg-if I am looking for a quote on moneysupermarket.com and I lick on the required link, a new window will open but it will be blank and in the bottom left hand corner the word stopped appears

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

I ran un update to iPhoto as instructed but when done I had no Event Pictures to the right of my Albums..just Palm Trees...how can I fix this?

I updated an old IPhoto library to work with the lastest Iphoto update as instructed. I lost all my "Event Pictures" and have just Palm Tree graphics? What to do?

Also on another Library I need updated it "hangs" if I try to update it. Can I use earlier Iphoto versions somehow on these?

Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate
Note:
hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto.
If you're getting the options you refer to you're not holding the command key as well.

When I get on my ipod and press the app "text free" I can text, but when I try to call I get something that says "Still connecting to the voice network and to try later. This has been there for days and my daughters can call on theirs.

Sounds like a Text Free issue. Contact their support.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

I've been using VMWare Fusion for my Macbookbook Pro (OS Lion) and it froze the other day. It couldn't force quit any program so I needed to do a hard reset by pressing the power button. Now VMWare won't restart properly. How do I fix this?

The Mac side works fine but now the VMWare won't even open windows. After restarting it did an automatic StartUp Repair but after another reboot, it was just a black screen.

Have you rebooted the Mac. Give that a try.
If that doesn't work you could reinstall Fusion but if Fusion opens and you can get to the Library windows of Fusion I think your VM OS is toast.
I make a habbit of copying the VM to another internal, yes I have 2 internal drives in my MBP, and to an external drive. I do this about once a week. That way if the Mac screws something up I have a backup I can use to overwrite the one that does not work correctly.

Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears.

First time going to a site where I do not have access and clicking the back button I'm returned to the root site instead of the site I started from

I have SharePoint 2013 enterprise using ADFS for authentication. I have an issue where the first time going to a site where you do not have access and clicking the back button you're returned to the root site instead of the site you
started from.
ie:
1) at site http://www.sharepoint.com/sites/finance/home.aspx
2) browse to
http://www.sharepoint.com/sites/finance/private/home.aspx
3) receive a message: you do not have access to this site ((oops went to the wrong location - I'll hit the back button))
4) click the browser back button
5) get returned to http://www.sharepoint.com/pages/home.aspx
This only happens the first time browsing to a site that I do not have rights to, after this I can browse to the same site and hit the browser back button and return to the correct site, or any other site that I do not have access to.
Any ideas as to why this happens? Ideas of where to start looking?

Hi Robert,
From your description, when you receive access denied message and hit back button in browser, it redirects you to the root site but not previous site. However, this just happens at the first time.
You may try to use some tool or check log which can tell us how does it handle the request when you hit the button. And compare the issue time and non-issue time.
I'd suggest you use Netmon tool:
