When i get on facebook through firefox, i get multiple tabs of facebook. why is that happening?
when using firefox to get on facebook, after i login. i get a ton of opening new tabs of facebook. it keeps going and going til i'm forced to sign out. It only does that for facebook, not any other web sites. What is causing that to happening?
This issue is caused by the Facebook Toolbar 1.7.3 extension

Something went wrong in the iOS if you are getting the connect to iTunes screen. you will have to exactly that - connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes using the cable. You will need to restore the iPad now.

Exactly what program is throwing that request message?
Does that message list any details, such as WHAT will be written/saved to your computer?
As ATR mentions, I am not sure how PrE figures into the mix. I would anticipate that your message is coming from FaceBook, or from the OS, or from your anti-virus/anti-malware program.
Regardless, be VERY wary of any program, or Web site, that wants to write to your computer, unless you have delibertly invoked something that you DO want to do so.

When I access Yahoo Mail through Firefox, as soon as Yahoo mail opens, my userid and password have already been entered. I do not want this to happen since other people use this computer. How can I stop this? this does not happen when I access through Internet Explorer.
It looks like your password is stored in the password manager. I can no longer (since upgrading to the latest firefox) open up multiple tabs of the same page (something I need to be able to do when emailing and referencing multiple emails while writing one email). The only option it gives me is to 'switch to tab'.I'll try to make this clear. I USED to be able to left click on a hyper link and the hyper link would open in a NEW tab. Now for some unknown reason the hyper link by default opens in the same tab (window). I have to right click the hyper link in order for it to open in a NEW tab. (Yes, my 'tools'> 'options'> 'tabs' are set to "open new windows in a new tab." (Please no answers telling me to get rid of the Ask toolbar because I don't have one.) Thank you.

I cannot access facebook on my MacBook Pro. I am able to access every other website. When trying to access facebook it says that page cannot be displayed as safari cannot establish a connection. I was able to access it just fine few weeks ago....

I am getting a 'MIDI timeout' error message when I open garageband. I am not using any other apps so why is this happening. Restarting does not solve the issue.
I should also add that I am using core audio, no external MIDI device and Garageband v 6.0.5. Thanks

Firefox keeps loading multiple tabs of: Index of file:///c:program files/mozilla
Here are the details:
I start Firefox (6.0.2.4262) (I'm running version 6 due to compatibility issues with my online college having problems uploading files with FF version 7 or 8)
I enter a web address (i.e. www.yahoo.com) and as soon as the page begins to load I have multiple tabs and windows opening.
When I attempt to close one of the windows it gives the warning I am try to close "22 tabs" - yep... 22 tabs.
If I allow FF to keep loading all the tabs, etc., about a minute later it will crash. The submit a crash window appears.
I have all extensions and add-ons disabled.
I even uninstalled Java, Flash, and several other programs in hopes that the problem would stop.
In addition, I ran a malwarebytes scan and an Avira virus scan which both came up clean. I also used CCleaner to wipe out history and clean the registry. I even made hidden files visible and deleted the Mozilla install folders under my user name.
So, then in hopes of searching for some answers on the Mozilla forums I started up the horrible Internet Explorer and also get a million different pages loading of the preset homepage of "msn.com", which also crashes
(I apologize for starting and using IE, but I was limited on resources to check the internet for info)
If anyone can offer some assistance, or advice on this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

I created a new apple id and when I go to download an application my old apple id pops up, why is that?

There is no deleting of apple id - you just don't use it all.
Note all apps that was purchase using the old id, you will have to use that id and password to update apps.
Apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase it. You can try and delete the old apps and download it with the new id. -

You should really read the manual.

Restore. When given the choice, choose to use backup.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
I have Elements 11. Sometimes, if I edit a photo in Elements Editor, the date gets changed to the current date. Why does that happen? It doesn't happen all the time, so I can't isolate the cause. Any ideas?

Slightly important info to include.
Once the iPhone is in Recovery Mode, it must be restored with iTunes.
You are unable to select Restore?
