When I go from LR to PS, the image gets very noisy.

Going from LR to PS, I get a lot of noise. There are other differences as well. It seems the WB is a little different, too. I've made sure the color profiles are the same, but that seems to not make a difference with this isssue.

I am starting with a RAW file from my Canon 6D. I make corrections in LR and then go to 'edit in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014' for further editing. When it opens in PS, it looks quite a bit different. The images were taken in very low light and I used pretty heavy noise reduction in LR. It looks great in LR, but it seems to not really be applied in PS. Here are screenshots. The PS image is first and LR second.

I have the exact same problem. My apple ID is [email protected] , which is not any valid email. when i try to send an email from my icloud, it uses my @mac.com apple ID instead of my [email protected] email and i always fail to send it out. This was also alright when i send through iCloud.com. Hope someone would find a solution for this soon.

Thank you for providing so much detail about the issue you are experiencing with emailing photos from the Camera Roll.
The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the Photos and Camera app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

In Edit mode the image gets distorted as if a graphics card error...

When I enter edit mode, many times the image gets distorted and is unrecognizable. The image is covered in red or green lines like when a driver or graphic card is having problems. I can view the image if I use the shift key or exit edit mode.
Have the latest version of both OS and iPhoto. Am considering a complete reinstall of the OS and Software but would like to avoid if possible.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
Well you can avoid the hassle of re-installing because it won't help. This is a bug that affects some users of 10.6 and iPhoto, Aperture and/or Preview. Currently there is no solution.
iPhoto menu -> Provide iPhoto Feedback
and let them know that you too have the issue.

I have the iPhone 5 and have with 6.0.1 software version. Although I had them when I moved from iPhone 4 to the 5, the latest update has most of my songs on the phone listed in grey (over 95% of them) and I can't play them. They are still listed though.

They are still listed in the iTunes library. When I look in the Summary for the iPhone, it shows Audio as only .16 GB - I have over 5 GB of songs, so what gives?
P.S. When I look at my Playlists most of the songs are greyed out. However, at the bottom of the list there is a cloud icon with a downward facing arrow. When I click on it each song starts to "load" and after a few minutes I have the songs back on in the list. I have to do this to all my playlists (I had over 100) in order to get access to all my songs. Then I did a sync and it happened again!
I use iCloud for documents and some other things (calendar, contact, etc.) but am not aware that I have anything music-wise in the cloud. Any thougnts?

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I seriously doubt that you can do that. I've never heard of anyone doing something like this. I also strongly suspect that that windows software didn't preserve all the resource fork, ownership and hard links correctly.
You are left with manual migration of your data back to your computer. this isn't as hard as you make it sound. You just need to copy you own stuff back. also use the following [post|http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=6185507] to migrate important parts of you user library, Mail, iphoto etc. You will have to reinstall your applications by hand.

Pages continue to slide rather than flip for the horizontal orientation. In the vertical orientation, the text scrolls up-and-down like a web page (again as shown in iBooks Author if you change the previewed orientation). I'm not sure why Apple went with the different GUI for their textbooks, but its the same for the ones authored by the big publishers. If you want to see what the format is like on the iPad, there's a short free textbook (Wilson's Life on Earth) and sample chapters from others available from the iBookstore.
On a side note, one interesting thing about using texts in the two different orientations is that the formating changes as well. Figures that show up as larger embedded images in the horizontal layout are smaller images in the left margin in the vertical layout, at least in Wilson's book.

Is iPhoto open when you connect the camera and are you seeing the camera in iPhoto?
If not then describe in detail how you're going about trying to import photos from your Samsung camer into your iPhoto Library. From what you've described we have no idea what's going on.
And where is this "import" folder located that you're referring to?

When I export a photo from lightroom, the image is very pixelated. This pixelization occurs irrespective of whether I make adjustments in Lightroom. It seems that just placeing the photo into he develope modual without doing anything to it taints the image in such a manner that when it is exported from the develope modual the expot comes out pixelated.

The photo i was a panorama knitted in Photoshop from four photos which were approx 3.3 MB each. The knitted pic came out to be 1.10MB. The panorama pic I was trying to refine in Lightroom and export came out to be 70.9 KB and extremly pixilated. Whether I altered it in Lightroom or not didn't matter.
I can't imagine that bringing up the photo in the Develop modual would result in pixilization when it was exported regardless of whether it was altered or not altered.!!
Attached is a copy of the Photoshop saved and Lightroom exported photos before and after. I appreciate your help and interest. The top pic 1.10MB is what was saved on Photoshop. The bottom pic 70.9KB is the unaltered pic exported out of the Develop modual exhiiting the pixelization.

Try:

I would like to inform you that not all the browsers and online PDF readers support copying text from a PDF. If you have opened the PDF online, please download PDF file to your computer and then open the file in Adobe Reader.
Please share a screenshot if the issue still persists.

Pasting from a script centers the image

I'm new to these formus and to extendScript in particular, and I would be verry happy if someone could point out what I'm doing wrong.
I have a script that opens a image (lets call it icon), and for all the images in a folder, resizes icon to the current folder image, pastes the image on top, and saves it.
It works great except for a small problem which I can't seem to fix. When the image from the folder is smaller than the canvas ej:
Then when the image gets copied over the icon image, it's pasted centered, like this:
Which defeats the purpose of what I wanted to do, I needed it pasted in the same position as it was in the original image. As we are talking of well over 1k images, doing this by hand is a bit problematic, so I would be really thankful if someone could help me out.

first, thank you for taking time to reply. I apologize for how confusing the post is, I realize how hard it is to understand by code, so I'll try it with images to make it clearer.
Here is the original icon file:

And now we open the first img32 file (sorry for the size, it's a bit hard to see but there is a small green hill on bottom left)

Then we select the img32 and copy it:

Finaly we paste on the icon the img32 content we had copied:

Notice how the img32 contents get copied smack in the center? I needed to copy it in it's original position, not the center.
You can probably see the problem with working with translate, as I can't figure out the displacement the image needs. All images I need to work are different sizes and positioned in random positions in the canvas, so I can't hack it to be always bottom right or something like that, I need it in the original position.
Any tips? Your help is greatly appreciated, and frankly, the only hope I have about this whole busines right now.

I set black point with alt button down while I move sllider. When black
dots show, I stop and back off a bit. That's the normal result. Normally a
white screen appears until I release the alt key. In my case, sometimes the
screen goes from white to full image. It's not all the time. I view my
power and ram use as I work and it doesn't spike when this happens. It's
as if the alt key command is not holding. I've used both alt keys with
same results.
