Recently, I can't get any sound from my game applications. Sound works fine with video, streaming, etc, but not my game applications. I've tried powering down and re-booting, but the sound does not return. Can anyone help me?
Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). I am having a real problem with my MacBook Pro. While I am using Safari it is running really slowly and I am getting the rainbow circle a lot. Can someone give me some suggestions? I have no idea why it is so slow and it will not open any webpages.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. -

Turn off VoiceOver by double-tapping the screen with three fingers. Then stop yourself accidentally doing it again by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver.

my photos won't "load" - it has worked fine for at least two years, but suddenly now when I plug in the chip, iPhoto opens up as usual, but the window just says "loading photos", and the little wheel keeps on spinning - can anyone help me?? I am new here. I need to get it working again because we're about to go on a trip!
What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Hi I followed instructions to copy/move iTunes music to a new PC. I can see albums listed in the library but SYNCH will not put any music on my new iPod.
It took three weeks to import my CDs on the old PC and I don't want to do it again!

How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
Once you have the tracks on some removable medium, you can mount that on your new computer and then just drag the content to the iTunes window. Make sure that the option to "copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" is set in the iTunes -> Advanced -> General preferences before you do. Alternatively, you can use the Add To Library command and select each track (or folder of tracks).
If you won't be using that Windows system once you move the content, don't forget to deauthorize the system from your iTunes Store account before you dispose of the computer.

I create an apple id then i want to verify it, i verify it once then when i log in with my apple id it asked mi again to verify it.everytime i log in it asked me to resend verication and after i resend it i press done. Please can anyone help me ?
How are you verifying it? Are you responding to the email that is sent? If not, do so.
If so, then try changing your password. -
I bought garage band from the app store and downloaded it to my mac mini. When i try to open a screen comes up explaining i need to down load missing files. I do this but when try to open GB again the same thing keeps happening! Can anyone help.

In similar cases it helped to remove the GarageBand "Preferences" file from the User Library.
Open the folder
your home folder > Library > Preferences
and move the file "com.apple.garageband.plist" to the Desktop.
Then try again to launch GarageBand.

I use 'numbers" to create an invoice which I previously exported(prior to recent updating) to Exel to enable me to send it to my employer. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and click iCloud.
Make sure you’re signed in, and then select the Documents & Data checkbox.
Click the Options button next to Documents & Data.
Make sure the iMovie checkbox is selected.

Select the “Automatically upload content to iCloud” checkbox.
To turn off automatic uploading, deselect the checkbox. -
i was watching a movie on itunes and i exited, but started to rewatch later. when i tried, the movie was reset to the beginning and wouldnt let me skip to where i was before. can anyone help me?
yes yes and yes. but now the movie has completely disappered from my iTunes and from my iPhone. I had 16 days and 19 hours left to watch my movie when I started it, and after I started it I still had 23 hours to complete it. Now it is completely gone.
