When I go to goole.ca I get redirected.
When I go to Firefox and then click on google.ca I am directed to my internet providers web site. I contacted the provider and they told me that it was a Firefox problem as they are my browser. This happened just after I set up a new cisco dpc 3825
its not firefox related problem, its a malware related issue, ask your antivirus technical support about this, this malware is called "Google redirected Virus"

When I login to ANY website, I get redirected to that login screen?
Ok, so this problem came along just a day ago. Heres what happened.
It started with comments not showing up on YouTube. Then, when I would try to login it would say "login failed, try again". For my Google account I couldn't login either. When I tried to login to my Google account it simply redirected me to the login page, and it doesn't say wrong password either. There is no error message. This happens with all other websites! I'm surprised discussions.apple.com let me in. Phew. But other than that, all of the other websites wont let me log in!! Its really annoying and I'm starting to think my accounts/internet was hacked.
THINGS I'VE TRIED
-Switching browsers
-Resetting my browsers and emptying their caches.
-Completely resetting my computer with a hard reset.
-I did a zero-pass overwrite on it too.
note- the hard reset may have not worked completely tho, my computer originally has 640 gb of memory. But when i reset the computer I still only had 582 left. Thanks for the help.
I ALSO WAS ABLE TO LOGIN ON MY MOMS COMPUTER WHO IS RUNNING THE SAME INTERNET AS ME! ALL MY ACCOUNTS WORK ON HER LAPTOP. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT I'M RUNNING OFF OF A WIRELESS ROUTER IN HER ROOM.Hi Jesse,
Sounds like you've developed a Permissions problem or Keychain problem on your Mac.
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.
In Finder do a get Info on...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Keychains/
Folder, do you see any strange rights there?
Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Window Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over.
Then See if this helps...
Mac OS X 10.4 Help, I forgot a password in my Keychain

Resetting your keychain in Mac OS X...
If Keychain First Aid finds an issue that it cannot repair, or if you do not know your keychain password, you may need to reset your keychain.

When I enter "honeymark" web address, I get redirected to a search for convertglobal
When I use IE8, I can go directly to honeymark. Firefox goes to the honeymark website, but then reconnects to an unsuccessful search for convertglobal.
Try to start Firefox in [[Safe mode|Safe mode]]. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works find in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.
A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers].
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): [http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/].
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://www.malwarebytes.org/]. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections. -
When ever I click on a link I get redirected. How can I prevent this?
When I do a search on Google, or Yahoo, a page comes up filled with all the possible links. When I click on a link I get redirected to a website that isn't the one I chose. By copying the web address under the description, and pasting it in the address bar I'm able to go to the right site. But this method is awkward, and I'd like to find a way to stop being redirected.

For over a month now I can't get to links from my search. When I click on the link I get redirected to some shopping page. I can still use my bookmarks to get to my favorite sites but can't do searches without this dumb redirect highjacking me.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br />

Uploading iWeb -- gets redirected incorrectly
When I refresh my website, the path gets redirected.
I design in iWeb & upload to godaddy.com The url should read http://website.com/welcome.html. Instead, it reads http://website.com/SITENAME/welcome.html, where SITENAME is whatever is in the 'sitename' field on iWeb Site Publishing Settings. SITENAME cannot be changed. I tried. It stays in all caps. Godaddy told me there should be no caps in the path at all.
Wut up w' dat?If you are publishing directly to GoDaddy, another solution would be to publish or ftp your site to a local folder and then download Cyberduck which is a dedicated ftp client. Use this to upload just the contents of your site folder and then you won't even get a site name if your url. Done this way your url will be http://www.domain.com/pagename. You don't need the sitename at all if you do it this way.

I keep getting redirected when I search goole, how do I stop it?
I use Firefox to get on the net, Google is my home page. When I search for something on Google I get redirected to another search page. At the bottom it says redirecting Firefox.
Probably caused by search redirect malware.

Hi Steadyalberta,
Something might be preventing Photoshop from being able to save your selection on the dialog window properly. You might try right clicking and choose Run as Administrator on the Photoshop icon when launching (Windows) or test if the behavior persists when using a newly created admin user account.
Hope that helps,

In the iTunes window, when I update my nano ipod, I get an error message "User ipod cannot be updated. The disk could not be read from or written to." How can I overcome this error message.
Hello there dilip77707,
It sounds like you are getting this error message that your iPod cannot be read from or written to when you are trying to update your iPod Nano. I recommend the troubleshooting from the following article to help you get that resolved. Its pretty straight forward, just start at the top and work your way down as needed:
'Disk cannot be read from or written to' when syncing iPod or 'Firmware update failure' error when updating or restoring iPod
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,

I have downloaded a movie from ITunes. It shows up in my video app. When I go to play it I get an error message: "The requested URL was not found on this server". When I checked back on iTunes, where you click to rent or buy a movie it says "Downloaded". Any advice on what I can do in order to watch this movie that I rented a couple of weeks ago?
Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.

When I am writing an email, I get an alert message that says “The message could not be copied or moved to the drafts folder. Writing to the folder failed. To gain disc space, choose Empty Deleted and choose Compact Folders and try again.”
If I do that, I get a message saying “There was an error copying to the Sent folder,, retry?”
If I retry it sends the uncompleted email. All I can do is keep deleting the message and carry on. Then the whole business might repeat itself.
Help!
FrankBecause the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive. If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
-Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
-Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down. You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
-Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes. Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked. You can close Preferences now.
-Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library. iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.
Shouldn't have any more problems... -
On a Mac, in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014, when adding audio to an edit, i get the message "Could not complete your request, because Dynamiclink is not available".
When performing the exact same operation in Adobe Photoshop CC, i can add audio in the same way, no error message. Any ideas to solve this, anyone? Would be greatly appreciated.I tried to update and it keeps telling me to get the Application Manager. And this is what happens
Adobe Application Manager failed and it told me to download the Adobe Support Advisor.
Adobe Support Advisor told me that there was an issue:" cpsid_82829s1: "A restart is pending," bootstrapper error has occurred. "Token Number: 40-87772-063201122012
I followed the instructions it gave me to correct this issue:

When I try to use safari I get a message that states can not find server Xn--%20%20-1ia0eb092a
It sounds like you've got a messed-up homepage. Click the Safari menu, click Preferences, and under "Home page", re-type the page you'd prefer to load when Safari starts (eg "nytimes.com" or whatever). Close preferences and try again.
