If you have carefully follow ALL of the steps in that article, you are using a USB port directly on your computer and not a USB hub (don't use a front port on a tower or desktop either, as they are an internal hub) and you installed iTunes correctly using an Administrator ID and you have tried disabling your antivirus and firewall then there is no hope of it ever working. Look at the tip again, and go through it carefully, not skipping any steps.
Note, BTW, that an iPhone will not show up on a computer, only in iTunes. If there are photos in the Camera Roll then it will appear in Windows as a digital camera only.

If you followed the instructions in the support article exactly (leaving the machine off for two minutes), then it has a hardware fault. Take it to an Apple Store or other authorized service provider for repair.

I have tried all the recommend solutions I could find in the Apple Support Community. I noticed a couple of weeks ago the iPad was acting funny about connecting to the internet via the Wi-Fi. The past two days, it wasn't able to connect to the wireless router at all. It recognizes that the wireless router network exists, it just can't join. I tried the re-boot method. I have re-set the network setting on the iPad back to factory. I even thought my old wireless router may have issues and bought a new one yesterday, and the iPad actually worked for about 24 hours and now I am back to the iPad not being able to connect to the wireless router. I have re-entered the wireless router from scratch thinking that there may have been a bug in the setup. I have removed the security settings from the wireless router to see if that may have prevented the iPad from connecting but got the same message "Unable to Join". I have cleared the cookies and data, as that was also a recommended fix, but that didn't work. I also connected the iPad to the computer so that I could check for the latest update. iPad has the latest version, so that solution didn't work. Does anyone out there got any other ideas, or are you experiencing the same problem? Is there some known issue that I am not aware of???

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Am trying to sort my sons ipod, with no luck. I can't update or restore it, itunes doesn't see it but it is in windows. Errors so far, not recognising usb device, ipod service error, disk write error. I've been on the support site and tried the whole list, but nothing has helped.
After 3 days of trying, am about to throw this out of the window!!

After my daughter dropped my phone on the floor (surprisingly the screen didn't crack), the screen went black and I could not turn the phone back on. This was not the first time that this happened to me and I fixed it by plugging it in to my car charger. I tried that this time and it did come back on but the place where my signal strength bars should be said 'searching'. After a short while, a message came up saying that my phone needed to be restored and to connect it to iTunes.
My phone would not come on unless it was plugged into a charger, other than that the screen was black (and still does that). The apple screen will show and then the usb cord connecting to iTunes symbol comes up and it will go passed that screen.
I connected to iTunes, and found out that my phone was in recovery mode and needed to be restored. I tried to restore several times and the same thing happens. iTunes will begin the process (extracting files first) after that part is complete and iTunes starts the next step of preparing the phone for restoring, my phone will go black as if it shut off and then the apple screen comes on and then the usb cord connecting to iTunes shows up and then iTunes delivers the error21 code. Can anyone help me please? I've tried pressing the home button and lock button at the same time for seconds and then holding the home button blah blah but it does me no good because I can't get my phone to do anything unless its connected to a charger or the computer. Please don't tell me my phone is broken !!NOO it's not broken it is a software error. What you need to do is put your phone into what is called DFU mode or Device Firmware Upgrade Mode. What you have to do is connect your phone to itunes but do not start the sync process. Ignore any popups from itunes initially. When you are connected to itunes take your phone and hold down the home button and power button at the same time. Hold them down for about 30 seconds or so and you should see your device screen rollover to the black screen and disconnect from itunes once this happens it will reboot and automatically connect to iTunes, after this happens start the restore process through itunes and it should continue past the error message.
* Also before you do this try ejecting your sim card if you have the at&t model if you are on Verizon ignore this. There is a small oval port on the right side of the phone with a small pinhole. Use a paperclip and insert it into the hole, the door will pop open. Take the door out, remove the sim card and wait 5 minutes then return the sim card back into the phone and begin the above process.
If none of this works you may just want to bring it the genius bar and have them look at it. Good Luck and I hope this helps! -

My computer is saying it can't find the file 'iTunes64.msi' when I try to update or redownload iTunes how do I fix this? I've tried just about everything I can think of. I am using a dell laptop running windows 7 and have tried changing the file location to run the update in all of my iTunes files as well as when I've tried reinstalling it.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.

Photos in the camera roll of "iPhone cannot be imported because the device is locked with a passcode. Tried just about everything - suggestions?
Because your computer sees your phone, as it would see any digital camera, as long as you have photos in your camera role. Since you state you don't sync with this computer & have a passcode on your phone, that's why you get that message. The only way to prevent that message is either start syncing with this computer; remove the photos from your camera roll prior to connecting; or first turn off your passcode before you connect. Either that, or you live with it.
You shouldn't be storing photos in your camera roll anyway. iPhone camera roll is not designed for photo storage. You should be regularly importing them. -
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing iTunes and my pc still will not connect with the iTunes Store. I have tried just about every suggestion on the web to no avail, please help.
When I click on the store it just never opens, I do not receive any message. I try to "refresh the page" and nothing. While having the store selected I go to "help" and check for updates and i get a message; "The iTunes updatte server could not be contacted" and it prompts me to check my internet connection which is fine. None of the items under the "Store" respond with anything.
I ran a iTunes Diagnostics/ Under "Which Tests do you want to run" I check only "Network Connections" and the results that I receive is...

A while back now I lost use of Acrobat Reader's loading feature while in Firefox. I have tried all of the suggestions that I can find in the Help Menu, on blogs, etcetera, and nothing has worked to re-enable it. The Acrobat Reader seems to work fine from all other browsers, and from the Start Menu. I just can't get it to work with Mozilla.
I solved this problem by looking at the plug-ins I had in 5.0 and found that I had two versions of Adobe - a V8 and a V10 enabled. I disabled the V8 and it all works fine now.

CS6 problem. When I open the Mask panel, it takes up the entire screen width and the Looks controls disappear, Also, there is a new panel below the Mask panel that seems to have no purpose that I can find. The documentation says "Mask and Look panels - The Mask panel is now placed next to the Look panel. WIth the masking and grading tools placed side-by-side, you can now work faster on the mask workflow." Is there a way to move, hide, or otherwise manipulate the panels for a custom layout? All the examples I can find on the Web show the Looks panel to the left of the Mask panel where the controls are available.
Ok, here is what I have so far. Appdelete the iWork and reinstalled. Pages and Number work, but not Keynote.
Now, I downloaded a couple apps that I need, and no matter what I did, the spinning ball came up and the download stopped till it unlocked itself. It is really frustrating because the download was not completed and whatever came through would not mount. Could this issue be the internet connection? Permission fix showed a lot of Airport issues. I will try to run permissions fix again. -

You mean take the cover off of the iPhone, to look inside? I'd recommend against it. Even with warranty expired, you might qualify for an out-of-warranty service, which for 3GS is $149.
Other than that, any repair/service options are going to cost money. You might want to see if a wireless carrier will let you get a new contract & phone.
Out of curiousity, you're just using at as, basically, an iPod Touch, if there's no cell provider? Did I understand that correctly?
