When I go to settings- iTunes

When I go to settings-->iTunes & App Store on my iPhone 6, it shows that I'm signed in to the correct Apple ID. But when I go to update my apps, the screen that pops up has my husband's apple ID. As a result, I can't update anything on my phone right now. Any ideas? Thanks.

Those apps must have been downloaded under his ID. To rectify this, either sign in under his ID, or delete them and re-download/re-purchase them under your own ID.

Delete those applications and then download them from the desired Apple ID. This may require repurchasing paid applications.

I do not have this problem with iPad ID is stored and can be used in App Store and iTunes. I have just upgraded to 5c and it's still a problem.

When fist setting up your new iphone you will be asked to log in with an apple id and password. If this did not happen you can then do as you suggested going to settings to itunes and app store and add your apple id login. This apple id login must have already been created for the iphone to accept it. If this apple id is already created but is not being accepted by your iphone you then should shut down your iphone and restart the device.

Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.

I always do my Rentals with the itunes program on the computer.
Make rental from itunes store. It will show in movies under library, DO NOT click to play it. Plug in the device to the computer. Click the name of the device on left. Click on movies. There is an option to copy to the device. Sync. obviously you still need space on ipad to put rental but you can have it take computers hard drive space until you need it.

Cannot add a new email account, and hence icloud account. When i go into Settings - Mail, accounts, calendars, the option to add a new account cannot be clicked (ghosted). I also have iCloud Settings ghosted (unclickable). Cannot change in itunes also.

I had the same problem with iOS 4.3 but i had no email account to create as i set both up when i bought the iPhone 4. After adding a company email and a gmail account (both wok perfectly) i noticed that the option to create more email accounts had been ghosted (unclickable). This didn't worry me at the time. However, iCloud needs me to create one in here so i can access the cloud which i desperately want the ability to do. When i go into Settings -> Mail, accounts, calendars, the option to add a new account cannot be clicked (ghosted). I also have iCloud in the iPhone Settings ghosted (unclickable). I have same problem in itunes on Mac OSX. Surely restoring isn't the solution as i restored my iphone when changing from iOS 4.3 -> 5. Please help?

Accounts, tick Allow Changes.
Press the back key a few times till you're back in Settings, you should see iCloud is now highlight able, now go to Mail Contacts and Calenders and add your email account as per norm.

I (though am not sure what happened) solved the problem. Under show all I had both videos and music selected as on. I turned off videos and ..hey presto..the slider reappeared.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

I'm not sure what settings you are referring to. If you mean the import CD settings, there would be no point in changing them after importing the CD, would there?
As for the best setting for audio quality, it's down to your preference. Many people will not hear the difference bewteen one setting and another. The best thing to do is import the same song several times using different import setttings (and change the song title so you know which one is which) and then listen to them on your iPod. Then decide.
Unless you have specific reasons for using the WAV setting, don't use it. It will use up a lot of space on your iPod and you cannot tag WAV files in the same way as the other formats.

I get the same error (although in Dutch ;-)).
It also says something like (I'm translating): "Make sure your network settings are correct and your networkconnection is active or try again later." Is there a way to find out these "correct networksettings"?

I have experienced a similar error with the iPhone 4S. The new version of iTunes will not let me restore the phone, it must be updated and nothing appears to be happening. Suffice it to say I am not amused. Apple needs to work this out - I had trouble updating to 8.0.2 as well.
