When I go to the iTunes store I cannot get the content to play. Also, much of the artwork is missing
Just recently, I went into iTunes. My iTunes music library is fine. However, when I go to the iTunes Store I am unable to access the content or preview songs. Also the artwork in the iTunes Store is missing. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help in advance.
Perhaps try the iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

You copy them from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.

hi, i have an imac which i bought second hand but but the itunes store wont load up nor will me songs ect sync with the itunes on this comp? i have had no issues with this on previous laptops.... any more of this and i may move to samsung! please help!

I bought photoshop elements in the Itunes store, can I get the PC version for free or at a discount? I'm about to migrate back to PC and I'd love to not have to buy the program again. I'm not sure how it works though since I bought it through the Itunes app store, not adobe directly. Am I out of luck?
Theoretically you can use the itunes version to qualify for adobe's upgrade discount, but that's it. All download versions are single platform. And in many countries the street price of the full version of PSE is less than adobe's upgrade price, so it's usually not worth pursuing that. However, if you wish to, I'm told you use your apple ID as your serial number when asked. I don't know anyone who's done this, so I don't know how well it really works.

enriqueromanSince about Feb 1 2012 was having this same problem - seemingly started after I had downloaded latest iTunes and Lion updates. I got the error both when trying to update apps on iPhone 4S and MacBook Pro.
I found the solution on another discussion list. My iTunes account had an "&" in the name. I edited the account details through iTunes and this solved the problem immediately. -
I bought a song off of the itunes store on my iphone but it wont play. I even tried to repurchase it but it says that I already purchased it. I have restarted my phone and turned it off but it still won't download or play. HELP!
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your phone and re-download it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on it, or the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -
Itunes Match won't upload. I get error stating there was an error in the itunes store, please try again. I have tried again everyday for the last month and am still unable to use. Any ideas on why Match can't complete the 1st step of the process (Gathering information about your Itunes library)?

If all you are trying to do is buy music, you can easily buy MP3s at any online music download store (e.g. amazon.com) and add them to your iTunes library. -

I have the same problem on XP sp3. This is since the appearance of TuneUp. Again a so-called "useful" application.
Apple Programmers, please K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple and Stupid. I do not want to be suggest to do something, I don't want to be warned of this of that, Geniused or pinged... In the past, Itunes loaded on my pc in less than 10 seconds and it worked. Now, It blocks my computer and I can not buy music anymore !!!!! When I go to the iTunes store, it won't open. I don't receive an error message of any kind, just a blank black screen. I have tried to access the store on other devices in my home and it works. All my music shows up in my library, but nothing will show up when I go to the actual store. I have updated my software and made sure the date/time are correct. Everything else seems to be working fine on my computer. Not sure what is going on, but would really appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!
I'm expreriencing the same conditions with the same environment. Windows 8, iTunes-64 11.1.2.32, iTunes Store with a processing bar up to 80 +/- and the POPUP MESSAGE OF "iTunes stopped working. The error ...."
I UNINSTALLED, iTUNES WITH NO POSITIVE RESULT. I CHECKED THE FIREWALL AND IS THE SAME DEFINITION AS THE PREVIOUS ITUNES VERSION.
My iTunes StoreS from my iPhones ARE OK.

My PC is running Windows 7. I have downloaded the new OS Version for iTunes onto the computer. It all works fine from the iPod Touch, but when I click the block for the iTunes Store, I get the message that "iTunes has stopped working". What is wrong? How can I fix it so I can purchase from the store on my PC instead of having to use the small keyboard on the iPod Touch?
There's an issue currently that a lot of us are experiencing in that we all get the error message "iTunes is currently unavailable; please try later"

As it stands iTunes cannot be accessed via ATV's and nor can it be streamed via AirPlay from iTunes to the ATV
However I can access all films/iCloud content via my Mac Mini with no issues! -

If you're seeing a blank iTunes Store, see this support article:

If that does't help, try resetting Winsock. This has solved the problem for some people, at least.
1) Click on your start menu.
2) Go to accessories
3) Run the Command Prompt application. For those with Vista or Windows 7, right click on Comman Prompt and choose "run as administrator".
4) Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
5) hit Enter and it should say something like Winsock reset successful.
6) Reboot your computer and try the iTunes Store again.

When you buy a buy at the itunes store do you get access to closed caption on like a DVD
I would like to know if the movies you purchase from the Itunes store allows you to have closed caption. We have purchased a lot of amazon but the closed caption is not an option there and we would love to switch over to Itunes for movies.

It was a game I purchased that is suppose to be compatible with IPOD 5G however it downloaded from the ITUNES store in the "Apps" of ITUNES, but shows that it is a game with the extension.ipa. There is no game tab in ITUNES. How do I get the game tab back in order to sync with my IPOD 5G
