When I got FF4, it said that extensions weren't compatible. The worst is Delicious. They are all gone. Either compatibilize them, or show me how to ditch this POS and get back to the old one...I don't like this beta AT ALL!

What details? FF made a new crummy beta, screwed up my tranquil and wonderful browsing environment, and now, like the big oil companies and the banks, are laughing at me. Browsers of the world, UNITE! We have nothing to lose but our bookmarks!

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

I do not understand what you mean by page and what you mean by library.

Since recent updates, I have noticed that my apps close automatically when I am distracted. In some cases it is time consuming to sign back in and get back to the task I was doing. Is it possible to change a setting so the apps will stay open?

It is sometimes time consuming to sign back in and get back to the task where i left off. Is there a setting I can change so it will keep the apps open until I am ready to close them? Did you have this problem before Restoring you iPad?
If you did then did you restore with a backup. You may have reinstalled something that is conflicting in this back up
If not then sounds like either something went array with the clean install or a hardware issue.
I know it's long winded but have you tired a clean install then downloading the apps again?

You can't gift it, gifting can only be done from within the store, not from within your library.

Since updating Firefox as suggested, when I 'save as' a jpeg, it automatically finds the folder and it's always the wrong folder. How can I disable this feature and go back to the original mode where it remains in the folder I choose until I change it?

For example, I saved a jpeg named 'picasso the guitarist'. I have folders titled A to Z. When I click 'save as' it might open the 'K' folder and I have to manually search the 'P' folder for 'Picasso' and save file. The most irritating thing is, when I 'save as' another jpeg of say 'pieter mother & child' it goes to another folder and does not remain in the 'P' folder, rather it goes to the 'X' folder or some other. This didn't happen before the last upgrade. Can I disable this new 'help' feature that is taking more time than the old version?

Current Firefox versions remember the download directory based upon the URL, so if the URL changes then the default folder may be chosen if there hasn't been selected a download folder before for that server.

When I click the close button on a web page I end up at the desktop with no visible means of using other sites. When I click on the fire fox logo again I am told that I am already connected. When I use the back button instead of the close button to get to the home page and then shutdown my computer to start over I get the oops page asking if I want to restore web pages that I thought were closed.

Make sure that you type in the location bar and not in the Google search bar.

* If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window
* If you see the item in the Customize window then drag it back from the Customize window to one of the toolbars.

We have been given an iPhone 3GS from a friend who apparently paid a shop to unlock it for them, I think they call it jail reaming it. I would like to know if it is possible to restore this phone and get rid of the jailbreak that was done on it.

The phone was locked to a network which is why they jail broke it.. Not sure why as it's easier and cheaper to have the network unlock it!!! Which is what I would like to do. At the moment we can't upgrade any software... I'd like to honestly and respectfully use this phone...

euh no, that does not sound right. If you restore from back-up it will not fly.
a. You need to turn on iCloud if not done yet so it sync your contacts, calendar data, etc.
b. You need to back up in case something happens
c. Then restore
d. Then go on the app store, purchased, and re-download the app that you want
e. Then go on settings/iCloud and turn iCloud on with your Apple ID to put back your contacts, calendar data, etc.
That should be enough.
