When i got firefox ready to drag to app folder, it has a circle with slash , how come???

im ready to install the new fire fox, as i go thru process, i get to section were i have to drag firefox symbol to app folder, now the fire fox symbol has a circle with a slash thru circle on top of fire fox sybole, blocking firefox. i than drag it to folder but no luck , my finder tells me its not supported on this architecture. whats my problem?

IE stores its favorites as separate files and folders on the hard drive and that makes it impossible to have multiple entries with the same name.<br />
So you get the same behavior as with creating or saving files on the hard drive.
Firefox uses an SQLite database file and that allows to store as many copies of the same URL as you want although links are used and there is only one actual entry if it is an exact copy (a click on the highlighted star on the location bar reveals this).<br />
You can clearly see this if the URL is in the location bar, but not when you bookmark a link.
If you want to replace or update a bookmark then you will have to edit that bookmark, either via the star in the location bar or in the Library or sidebar or bookmarks toolbar.

After an firefox auto-update, there is a circle with slash over the icon (do not) and it will not launch.

Firefox was doing one of its automatic updates and it never finished but a circle with a slash through it appeared on the icon and now Firefox won't launch. It gives the following error message:

You can use the same appleid that you purchased the apps with on the phone for the App store. Settings> iTunes & App Store and continue to use the other id for everything else allowing you to have access to your previously purchased apps. You can then either sync or download the apps without paying for them again.
It can be quite handy having two appleids - it can be quite useful if you can manage them correctly. One id for the store and one for imessage is good for privacy if you have the same id in use on another device.

What happens if you try to Option-drag the library to the EHD? The same icon?
Make sure the EHD is formatted Mac OS X Extended (journaled) with Ownership set to be ignored:

When I first try to open it the pop us says: "You can't use this version of the application "iPhoto" with this version of OS X. Version: 9.2.1" When I try to update, it pops up to say "These apps cannot be accepted by your apple id - These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID and they will be available in that Apple ID's purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the application". I checked and there is nothing under the "purchases" in my App store. Then will say "update unavailable with this apple id - This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or canceled." Then the third pop up says "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again". Just want to know how do to fix.

After I upgraded to Mavericks I was also having this message when I tried to update. There was a previous post about this problem which offered this simple solution which worked for me:

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed.

Is your "home computer" the same as your laptop or are these two different machines?

Though I have doubts for success, you might try a SMC reset. It can do no harm. Otherwise, barring suggestions from others, the Apple Store or qualified repair facility is the last option.

This sounds different than with my IOS devices, since I am able to see the photos even with a connection to the Internet.
Do you mean without a connection to the internet? With a connection it's logical you would be able to see the PS.
