is it possible that you have unwittingly disabled it? You can go into settings, then on the left pane you should see various apps, including FaceTime. Touch it, and on the right you should see a "switch" next to FaceTime: swipe it to the right so that you see it turning green, and hopefully that will do the trick. See here:

It may be that Safari is right where it always was, in the Applications folder, but that you deleted its icon from the Dock. Type the first few letters of "Safari" in the Spotlight search box at the right end of the menu bar. If Safari appears in the results, launch it, then drag the Dock icon where you want it.

I had done all of that to no avail. I did call Apple Tech Support and after he suggested I try a USB port in the rear of the Win 7 computer, things starting working again. I've been having the same problem for days and just solved it. Tried going to Apple ID and had all the same problems you did in the second paragraph. I signed out with my current username on the ipad under settings--->store and signed back in with my oldest apple id and password. Now the apps don't ask for a password to upgrade. I too had a username that wasn't an email address and had to change to one that was at some point. That's what caused the problems. Hope this can work for you.

Do you have iOS 5.1.1 on your original iPad? If not update the iOS.
You might also try quitting the app and then reset the pad.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Still no joy? Delete the Keynote app, reset the iPad and then reinstall Keynote. You will not have to pay for downloading it again.

You should ALWAYS make sure that everything is on your computer and backed up, most especially before any update. The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer regularly.

Try the Boot Camp Assistant when you are in OS X and download those and follow the directions in BCA utility.
Then look up the Boot Camp forum. I suspect you thought this was MBP related forum, it is for 65 lb tower model (and well the new "nMP Late 2013 Mac Pro" http://www.apple.com/support/macpro/

Developers control which versions of their app is in the store. If a developer releases a new version and pulls the old version then it will no longer be available in the store.
If you sync the device that has the older app in ITunes on your computer and choose to transfer purchases, you will then have your own saved copy of the app. Then, sync the other device and select to install that app from the list of locally saved purchases.

From the pop up, select Langue et Text in the top row
When the pop up changes, select the first tab: Langues
You should see one or more forms of Francais in the list.
At the bottom of the window, click on Modifier la Liste...
Deselect all forms of Francais, and click on whichever form of English you prefer.
Click on OK (obviously the same in all languages!)
Dismiss the window by clicking on the red dot in the top left corner.
Now logout and login again: Apple menu > Fermer la session your name...

If your webcam is powered by USB, make sure it is attached directly to your Mac and not a USB hub. In my case, I had my Rocketfish webcam attached to a peripheral USB hub and it wasn't drawing enough power to operate at capacity. Therefore, Facetime was quitting on me and giving me that exact error message. Once I attached the webcam directly to my Mac USB port, problem solved. Hope that helps.

HP:s software for the webcam dont find any cam and in the list with all hardware its no longer exist. The USB-line for the cam in gone. It worked some weeks ago but no it has disappeared.
Do anyone have any tip for a solution?

If it is not in Device manager, then something has failed with the cam, some report camera cables coming loose or getting damaged inside the notebook, others report they just failed.
