When i have both itunes cards and credit card, what does it charge first?

I have an itunes card of 20 dollars, and want to buy Lion. But I also have a credit card in my itunes account. just wondering what happens when i buy Lion? I suppose it will charge fist my itunes card? or my credit card? will they complete each other?

I'm trying to free up disk space. When I look at my files using 'Grand Perspective' (Like 'Disk Inventory X'), I see songs in both iTunes music and iTunes media files. I'm wonder if there is some kind of duplication between them. Could I find HD space by doing something with these files? I've already 'organised' them using the iTunes library feature. But I note that it seems that organizing could leave the old (?) files in their 'original place'. That sounds to me like duplication.
I'm not at all a 'techie' so don't know where to go from here.

You are asking several different questions. If you need to store your photos, music, and movies on an external volume, you certainly can. Any externally connected hard disk drive will work, connected either directly to your Mac or to your Time Capsule as a shared volume.
You should not rely upon using that as a backup device though. Although you certainly may use it for both purposes, it is a better idea to have dedicated backup devices for a variety of reasons not limited to redundancy. You would not want to simultaneously lose all your pictures as well as your backup. If they are all on the same device, that could happen. Furthermore, a backup cannot back up the volume on which it is running.
As for adding an Extreme or Express, using its LAN port for your iMac, and then enable Internet sharing so you can effectively use the iMac as a "hotspot", you can do that too, but I am unclear on what benefit you believe this arrangement would convey for you.
An Extreme's Guest network is separate from its Main network; that is the reason for having it.

Is it a MUST to have both itunes library and itunes music folder?

I just noticed I have 22 GB of music in itunes library (itunes application) and also 22GB of music in itunes music folder. Do I need to have both folders active? What would happen if I delete all the music in itunes music folder? Should that delete all the songs in my itunes application?

The iTunes Library is a database file, it contains references to songs you've added to the library, their location on your hard drive, playlists, ratings etc. The library does not contain the actual song files. The iTunes Music Folder is the folder that contains the song and other media files. Deleting the folder that contains the songs would mean the the library couldn't locate them (because they would no longer exist) and there would be nothing to play. Hi, when I press the bottom at the too of my phone, it says that I don't have a sim card. I had the same droid a few months ago, but I had to get a new one. The old one had a sim card and this one doesn't have one. I am trying to upload pictures from my phone onto my macbook, and I do not think that I am going to be able to upload pictures on my computer without the sim card, am I right? I looked online and it said that in order to upload pictures, I have to plug the phone into my computer using a USB chord, so I used the chord that's attached to my charger because my charger consists of two parts: the chord can disconnect from the part that plugs into the wall. I really need help with this in order to do a homework assignment so please help me.

Which model of phone do you have again? I don't think the DROID X had a SIM card as it wasn’t a global phone. It does have a micro SD card plus an internal storage space for pictures, music, etc.
Connecting an android phone to a Macbook requires a few more steps. Try a search of this community for similar discussion of how to do so. I don't have an Apple product to give you any more suggestions.

If your computer starts image capture or some other camera software you should be able to quit that and then your iPad will show up in iTunes. Mine does this all the time.
The preference on what to start up when a "camera" is connected is found in Image Capture. So start Image Capture. It's in the applications > Utility folder. Then look for preferences. In my version it's in the lower left corner. Select None or Nothing and quit the program. From then on your iPad should show correctly in iTunes. But you will most likely have to start your smear software manually when you do connect a camera to your computer.

the last version of Mac OS X which supported running PowerPC apps on Intel Macs was Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). If you’d like to play this PowerPC game on your Intel MacBook Pro, then you’ll need to install Snow Leopard on it and boot into Snow Leopard. (Note that the last MacBook Pro which natively supported Snow Leopard was the Early 2011 model.)

You can associate files from the Bridge level and the Desktop level.
In Bridge CS4, go to Preferences > File Type Associations and change it to Photoshop CS4 for the file types you want.
If you want to open files from the Windows Desktop in CS4, these are the instructions:

If you want your image file to open in Photoshop and it doesn't, right click on it and choose
Open with > Choose default program… select Photoshop CS4 or CS6 and checkmark "always use the selected program to open this type of file".
