Perhaps the fields aren't fillable -- are you seeing a purple message bar across the top asking you fill out the form? Here is a quick video that explains the messages you should be seeing in your form - Quick Tip: How to enter form data using Adobe Reader.

If you're unable to download any PDF files, consider reinstalling Reader.

I have created a PDF form with multiple drop downs, all with the same drop down values. When I select a value from 1 of the drop down fields, it replicates in all of the others - which I do not want. Can I fix this?
I'm fairly new to this, but I think it has to do with the way you have the drop downs named. Did you copy one then keep pasting it in each field? If so, that is the problem. You should rename each one with a different number: Dropdown1, Dropdown2, etc. I think that might solve the issue.

Hi I have just bought a new Mac Book Pro 15" Retina display with 256 SSD and 8G RAM. I had my info transferred form my Previous Mac Book Pro late 2011 to this machine. When trying to download Mavericks it says it cannot be loaded onto this machine? Strange as I have just downloaded Pages, Numbers and Keynote...free? Thanks and Regards

You already have got OS X Mavericks installed (the Keynote, Pages and Numbers versions available in the Mac App Store are only compatible with OS X Mavericks).
You have got a Late 2013 MacBook Pro, which uses a special OS X Mavericks version that is not available in the Mac App Store. This is the reason why the Mac App Store is not compatible with OS X Mavericks even if you are using it. This will be fixed in OS X 10.9.1, when your Mac uses the same Mavericks version as all other Macs.
Until then, you can reinstall OS X through OS X Recovery > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718 -
I was wondering can i install windows on my mac when i have downloaded windows form the internet and do not have a C.D.??
Because when i get to the part in Boot Camp Assistant that says Start Windows Installation it says u need a disc... is there no other way??Get the physical copy (disk) this will enable you to reinstall when (not if ) it messes up.

After doing this and saving the file, when opening the saved file, I can only see the highlights where I made changes and the list of comments that I made, but I no longer see the original text. If you downloaded the file from a web page, it most likely went into a Downloads folder on your computer. If you don't know where that folder is, the easiest thing to do may be to use the Find feature of Mac OS or Windows (whichever you use), to search for the PDF form. Once you know where the file ended up, you can easily navigate to that folder in Reader. (Choose File > Open in Reader, then navigate to the file in the Open dialog box.)

It was just a hunch that MircoNetFrame was causing the problem. I disabled it as you suggested, and I still have the problem.
I just changed under Tools>Options> General - had checked "ask me every time" under downloads, so instead of asking me, FF saved the download to I know not where. It no longer saves it to the desktop, leaving a duplicate in "my documents".
In windows, I have found unless one knows the entire name of the document, one can never find anything. It isn't listed under recent ''''''__. I can't recall the nomenclature, but the
capability is ridiculous. So, I don't know where that file I just downloaded is!
I downloaded a PDF file, but this happens with all DL's. It was so easy to have them all stacked in one place and I could recall
what I had and when I downloaded it easily.
Do you have any other suggestions other that going back to the old version of FF, which I would rather not do?

Try opening it with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Note: Appleworks is the Apple office like application that stopped being able to run with Mac OS X 10.6.8. If you have a question particular to 10.9, I would ask in the 10.9 (OS X Mavericks) forum. -

When I try to open a recent document I get the following message "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document." I have downloaded version Pages version 5.2.2 and the app store confirms this (and won't let me download it again), but my Pages About reports that I am using 4.3
Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents -
